Inter got 100m from us for Lukaku and probably  gonna get him back for free.

they got Obama for free and now are gonna cash 60m for him from us again

still can’t buy a tap in in a CL final lol

Apart from how fkin dumb our transfer strategy is there also seems an innate desire to bankroll Inter Milan and ofc also Brighton.

Watch us.
He is on insane wages. The entire footballing world has witnessed what a shit and toxic player he is plus he has declared to only want to stay at inter. Why should they even bid a penny? They will give us a symbolic 10m or so just so we can save a bit of face.

plus Onana is decidedly average. Hard pass. Good shot stopper and athletic but not really that good with his feat and not always convincing in the air. Error prone too.
Still inter are in no rush to sell him, so why would they swap him for a player with virtually no value. They hold play the cards here.

there are so many decent goalies out there. Us paying a truckload for the only one that just was a free agent and still has ages left on his contract would be so in character for Todd

We should be using this fancy new scouting and football director system we have in place to find a new keeper that’s the next big thing rather than being forced to spend silly money on Onana. Surely there are some gems out there that we can get for €20-30m rather than the £50m or more Inter want or even more that Milan want for Maingan.

Raw and untested in a competitive environment. Even if he turns out to be as good as his potential, we can always bump off the keeper we sign now and make space for him - like Courtois replacing Cech. We should be targeting a top-tier GK regardless of Slonina.

Yassine Bounou  will be ideal to us - experience, on penalties is the class and will not cost 85 million. But no - as usual we will take another highly overrated goalkeeper for 50-60 million .

Doubt he wants to leaves Sevilla.

He's a family man and unlike the rest of the national team, he was actually raised in Morocco. Staying close to home. particularly now he's entering the latter stages of his career, is what he'll likely want.
