Pizy 19,259
Think I trust Ornstein much more than Fabrizio Romano, unfortunately. If the former says things with Enzo aren’t as far along as has been reported than I believe it. Fabrizio is basically a tap in merchant most of the time. He definitely calls things right and first sometimes but his sources mostly feel like they’re from outside of clubs. Whereas Ornstein has sources directly within clubs. Still really hope we seal the deal. We almost certainly won’t have a better chance in the summer.
NikkiCFC 8,516
Romano was days late after first reports about Enzo. I'm not worried. We want to pay 130m in installments so don't see what is stopping us to just pay release clause in case Benfica is messing around.

Apparently the instalments are because we don’t want to mess up FFP but I figure we sell some deadwood we should be alright regardless

He’d be insane to come to us at this point, we have to be honest with ourselves. Could have his pick of clubs at the height of their power this coming summer. maxlev 55
With this level of extremely poor coaching, some players like Enzo might have a rethink about joining us. Vesper
MoroccanBlue 5,399
You just have to hope we get it right with Nkunku and Enzo Fernandez as on paper they completely change our midfield.

Blue Armour 4,716
The fact that we got Aubameyang as top striker, a player much derided by his former team and manager, only to have him lose his first match against them, and then go on to see them leading the table by 7 points, with Aubemayang relegated to the bench - just shows the state we are in. And that is the big problem. We need to make players realize their potential instead of killing off their talent with our style of play. Pizy 19,259
Just 2 days ago when rumors of us offering J5 a new contract I was okay with it. I still am but ONLY if he’s a squad player. He highlighted again today why Enzo would be a transformational midfielder for us. Offers everything Jorginho does in terms of comfort relieving the ball but he can actually move about the pitch and break down defenses. We desperately need to upgrade his spot. Jorginho should start games only when he’s part of a 3 and has complete protection. dimmas
