True. But we desperately need a goal scorer right away. Like, immediately this weekend. We cannot afford to lose against WH or even draw.

West Ham will batter us as we literally have no midfield available.   Don't think a goalscorer is the biggest concern for us at the moment, we should be more worried about the defense buckling under pressure against sides that will very likely end up in the bottom 6 of the PL.

Rice to score from outside the box just to show Tuchel what he's missing.

Could have had Soler or Gravenberch for less than we paid for a promising 18 year old that Tommy apparently promised gametime, aslong as all other outfield players have had some first.

I know people would love to sack everyone as if it was that easy solution, got used to people wanting to change outfield players for equally crap ones, but idea of sacking Tuchel is, for a time being, beyond ridiculous. There is no one remotely capable of taking over, if we can't get Pep or Klopp, just forget it and don't even joke about Poch. We are stagnating partly because we pointlessly start over every two years. We replaced most of players and a manager a few times, yet we are still in the same situation that we were during Sarri taking over.

There's clearly a bigger issue at this club, that changing a few faces here and there doesn't fix and doing replacements rather than improvements rarely pays off.

plus PSG signed a player who could end up a Bernardo Silva clone, albeit right footed

It really is crazy that Auba and Sterling will surely be the extent of our attacking signings. Lukaku and Werner gone, CHO gone, Pulisic desperate to leave and shit anyways, Ziyech probably really wants to go and is bang average in this league. Mount and Havertz having a horrific start to the season and look like they’re still on summer holiday.

Sterling is the only attacking player we have that we can depend on for consistent, high quality performances. And we’re going to get Auba who won’t even be able to play for a month and then after that will need who knows how long to get up to speed.

Unless there’s some shocking, out of nowhere attacking in addition to Auba were in for another few weeks of unbearable attacking displays. And that’s not even mentioning the horror show in midfield…

RB Leipzig is close to sign Josip Sutalo from Dinamo Zagreb. The transfer will be €18m + add-ons. Sutalo would remain at Dinamo Zagreb until Summer 2023 and would serve as a replacement for Josko Gvardiol, who would leave for Chelsea.

Interesting claim from this guy: "Chelsea are negotiating with Santos to have the priority over all future footballers from Santos academy. Chelsea would spend a high amount of money and would have to be made aware of all offers for the Santos' youngsters and having the option to match a bid and taking them to London".

Also signed Ruiz and Sanches.

and, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hugo Ekitiké
Nordi Mukiele

look at the prices too, and this is from a club with around £400 billion in backing (until/if the Kuwaitis (over £500 billion) come onto football, the Qataris are 2nd richest, behind the Saudis (£2+ trillion)

Soler £17m

Hugo Ekitiké will cost £29.5m with add-ons when his buy clause kicks in next summer after a prelim loan

remove Mendes, as he came last summer

and the TOTAL for 6 really class NEW players is only £129m!

add in Mendes (a great, very young LB) and it is SEVEN for only £163m (basically what we paid for Donkeykaku and Pulisic alone)
