Chelsea Transfers

I really like the look of this Zacharyan kid we’re heavily linked with. Despite being a teenager he looks good enough to come here and contribute in the first team now. Already playing at one of the bigger Russian clubs so has experience.

Wonder what the plan is for him. Looks too good to drop into our youth setup.

I'm someone who was a big fan of Antony during his first season in Europe & wanted him ahead of Raphinha, who most preferred. His performances dipped last season, which tends to happen quite often as they're unable to replicate their form.

It's honestly mind-blowing that Ajax has managed to rinse United for that much. High transfer fees seem to no longer reflect end product, and this is a worrying trend.

He is a good player but not for 100m€

i prefer leao for 120m

We have a free run at him this summer and it’s one of those cases where a top talent dreams of playing for Chelsea. If we waited and he had another great season there would’ve been many other big clubs after him. Most notably PSG. And then with a bidding war he would’ve cost even more than this already high price we’re paying.

best hope that leg golds up and he gains his searing pace back (which he has not as of now)

There better be a plan B or we will get more matches like Leeds and Leicester when ever Kovacic and Kante are absent. Which is inevitable.

Don’t think it’s going to happen, mate. Despite the rumors all summer I’m thinking we have never truly been in for a starting midfielder. Otherwise we would’ve snapped up one of the many who have moved clubs this summer.

I’d prefer Wilf to Auba, tbf. But exactly like Mitrović and Toney, Zaha is the face and most important player for his club and there are just a few days left in the window. He’s irreplaceable for them at this moment in time.

Contract expires next summer. Sell him now or lose on a free.

Contract expires 2023 for Zaha. Best shot among the three

Not sure if I could handle Wilf Zaha moaning and stropping around the pitch for 90mins.

One of those players who you despise when you’re playing against him but would love if he’s in your side. Him throwing himself to the ground and winning 500 fouls per season is annoying as hell but if he can do that for us I’d cheer.

True. But they won’t be getting huge money for him I wouldn’t think. He’s not young anymore.

Plan B can basically only come from someone on this list

comprehensive DMF list, including youth prospects

Blue bold are the doable nows, Kouadio Koné is the way to go for me, he can play anywhere in MF, super athlete

Declan Rice (not happening this window)
Jude Bellingham    (not really a DMF, but can play a pivot, we MUST move hard for him next summer, but we likely will fail, unfortunately)
Nicolò Barella   closest thing to Kante, not happening this window
Frenkie de Jong
Mikel Merino
Marcos Llorente   (we failed)
Wilfred Ndidi
Sandro Tonali  (renewing)
Rúben Neves
Kouadio Koné

Teun Koopmeiners
Guido Rodríguez

Danilo (Palmeiras) dice roll

and the lesser ones

Douglas Luiz
Ismaël Bennacer
Weston McKennie
Martín Zubimendi
André Zambo Anguissa
Leander Dendoncker
Julian Weigl
