Am not sad about missing out on any 1 from the serie A. Lukakuu was a world beater in that league, trash here. Tomori looked average on his best days here goes over there and looks world class. Alonsos been ok jorgi is torture to watch, Emerson no comment. Bakayoko even looked good on that league.

No, he looked crap at both Napoli and Milan.

He looked crap at Monaco. That team was a literal goldmine and we bought the one turd amongst the gold. Our scouting is beyond poor

I am hoping that will all change. Personally I'd rather no signings than trash for the sake.

He looked decent at Monaco, even made it to 16/17 CL TOTY.

Made 2 big errors vs juventus which got  them knocked out that year . His header v city made him seem good

Very difficult to understand. [Why it's so hard for us to recruit players.]

Just need to accept the truth of the song I've been singing for years. We are not an attractive club to top players. They only choose Chelsea when none of their preferred clubs are interested. If they have options, they will go elsewhere. This negative reputation took time to build and it will take time to dismantle.

100% on board with playing Havertz in the false 9 as a constant but I just hope we don't get to Christmas and it hasn't worked out and our need for a striker is staring us dead in the eyes once again.

Is it any more of a risk than a number 9 with questionable at best suitability to TT's tactics? Last summer i was cautious about even Haaland for that very reason.

Kai up front facilitates us playing football the way TT prefers which allows for great team performances even when the German is having a poor game in himself (case in point Real away), a new striker that we have to start everygame could fuck up the tactical dynamics again even if he scores the expected amount never mind pulls a Lukaku.

We are with the right coach. TT doesn't have  the same pull or attraction to players as Pep or Klopp. If Ancelotti or Mou were our coach, we wouldn't have this problem
