The embarrassing part isn’t missing out on a player to Barca. That can happen to anyone. The embarrassing thing is bidding a massive amount for a player without having acknowledgment from said player that he’s keen.

We better hope Dembele comes now or our attack is going to look stale once again.

As for De Jong, that’s a nonsensical link. Unless J5 is the player included for de Ligt. Another rumor that will get people excited and then when he goes elsewhere it’ll depress them. Just ignore it.

Yeah and if was coming out is true then he really really really doesn't want to come here and seems veryyy against it. Let's not keep chasing that!

Not the type of profile we are after and I think we are taking a break from signing players in the Dutch League.

It does however commit Barca to throwing the little bit of money they have at a player and could change how others feel about going to Barca. Right now Barca has some serious talent just waiting to see if they will get a deal. This could free up some talent.

Incompetence of offering a player a contract and waiting for an answer? After agreeing a fee with the club? Wtf do you want us to do pin him down and say make a decision now. Raphinha is well within his right to wait and see it's his career not ours.
