Pizy 18,897
So are we even going to try or….? Not sure who else is out there to replace Lukaku in terms of actual strikers.
Fernando 6,585
I don't want Gabriel. For Lukaku going we will see who we can get to replace him, but not Gabriel at that price.
Superblue 6,372
25 minutes ago, whats happening said: why would you need an owner you can have an agreement between a player/players agent and the buyer clubs representative with some sort of ultimatum. lets say if a club doesnt have an owner and everything sorted out until june 15th then deal is off. just an example... its not like our whole club changed and we are starting from 0. if thats the case is a bit amateurish. but even then you have scouts who should already have a list of players who we should buy... I'm pretty certain there has been discussions and likely base agreements in place with players but it's a different situation negotiating with clubs. How can you have an agreement when there is no 1 there to allow that agreement to happen, how can you expect us to go out and offer players another man's money who hasn't even bought the club yet are u mental? Who then? I’d rather just go the City/Liverpool route of the last few years and play with a load of midfielders than take a chance on some random striker. Because that was the mistake in buying lukaku when the other options was not available. Just buy winger and midfielders for now. As well CB. They also have a manager who, probably more than any other, top players are eager to play for. On top of all that they have a reputation for a playing a style that potential recruits find appealing which is certainly not the case with us. Footballers simply find City a more attractive destination so, along with the money, it is far easier for them to land their targets. They aren't working any harder than we are. Quite the opposite probably. the only things we have over Citeh atm are that we have won multiple CL's (they have none) and a world club championship, we have a better academy, and we are in London (as opposed to the shithole Manchester)

MoroccanBlue 5,380
Sad day when Arsenal are rebuilding quicker and more effectively than we are. I'll say one thing though, if Havertz, Pulisic, or any attacker doesn't hit the ground running, fuck them off. No more excuses.

Seems like wages are all over the place, which has to be problematic (Werner on £225k~). Fernando

Rudiger turns 30 this coming winter, no way would a cub pay 70m to 80m quid for him highest ever fees paid for CB's (look at the ages as well)
