FELIPE SCOLARI clashed angrily with Didier Drogba after Chelsea’s midweek Champions League tie in Bordeaux.

Blues coach Big Phil was seen shouting and gesticulating as Drogba left the field and went off down the tunnel.

One eyewitness said: “Scolari was clearly very unimpressed with Drogba.

“It looked like he wanted Drogba to go back and acknowledge all the Chelsea fans who had made the trip over from England for the game.

“Most of the other Chelsea players were out there doing just that.

“But Drogba appeared more interested in getting off the pitch and into the dressing room.

“Maybe he wasn’t sure what reaction he would get from the fans because of all the negative reports last week.

“But Scolari certainly had something to say about it.”

Drogba had been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons in the build-up to the match.

He and his agent were reported to have had a clandestine meeting with Inter Milan director Marco Branca at a restaurant in Fulham last Monday to discuss joining former Blues boss Jose Mourinho in Serie A.

Before that, Drogba had picked up a three-match domestic ban for throwing a coin back at Burnley fans in Chelsea’s shock Carling Cup defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Drogba was left on the subs’ bench and saw Nicolas Anelka put Chelsea ahead with his 14th goal of the season.
