Besides bullying those defenders he can drag them all over the place opening runs for others. I hope Lamptey tries too hard against us, if he plays a good game… we have nobody that matches up to him out wide. Maybe Pulisic has the speed to stay with him. And one of those opponents you don’t want to concede the first goal to because they’re very capable of soaking up pressure and shutting up shop. God knows we struggle to put away chances these days. Not that Alonso would’ve fared any better, but this is the exact sort of game that shows why we seriously need a LB this coming month.
