Hi guys, was a member of this forum a number of years ago and recently decided to give it another look. Big Chelsea fan from Scotland and looking forward to getting back down to the bridge in the coming months to catch a game. Family life has kept me away for a few long years!

Welcome back! I am hopeful that Billy becomes a permanent first team player in the midfield. If Saul does not work out and Billy keeps looking great on loan, I hope we recall him in January.

I do not think it would be any wise decision to recall back such a young player who is a regular in another premier league club( although a struggling team but good for his mental strength). My reasons are that we have up to 6 players already in that position and it will be hard for him to see game time at all. Real game time against several quality opponents develops players faster than just training with quality players but without game time.

Gilmour has no chance. He was even dropped from lineup by worst PL team and they got first point.

Meanwhile, Gallagher is best player of solid mid table team.

That is more reason why he should try and improve his game where he currently first before dreaming of sitting on the Chelsea bench again.

Gallagher was on a similar situation last season playing for one of the worst teams but I think he is growing his games steadily.
