the wes 7,212
With the January transfer window coming soon, clubs are starting to think about shuffling the pack and bringing in some new blood. Who is right or wrong for your club? Who has performed poorly so far this season? Which two Chelsea players would you like to see leave the club this January. Cameron 30
I wouldn't like to see any Chelsea players leave in January. Our squad is small enough as it is, and everyones contributed quite well so far (with the exception of a few decent squad players and injury's). warnie_666 1,081
Sell Ivanovic and get Mancienne.
EskWeston 696
Our squad cannot be trimmed any more. We have a very good squad indeed. Ferreira is a possibility to leave though.

Yes, the defense position can be trimmed IMO. I'd rather see Ivanovic sold than see a youngster who has potential and truly comes from the youth academy leave because he won't get chances. I posted that even Terry was brought in from another club in another thread.
Para6iT 2
Well it's hard to decide but i think Mikel will be the one.
Chelsea Lad 0
Like others have said we can't really afford to let anyone go, but if I HAD to make a decision it would be Ferriera (considering both Alex and Ivanovic can cover RB) and probably, dare I say it - Drogba. Selling Drogba would mean signing Aguero though.

bombayblue™ 55
For all the hype and reviews ivanovic has recieved, i just can't see any reason why he'd want to stay..
Chelsea Lad 0
Why? Or we can train Mancienne as RB and he can take Ferreira's place... I haven't seen enough of Mancienne tbh, unless he can already play at RB i doubt it would be a good idea to retrain him to play there. Does he have any attacking qualities? For all the hype and reviews ivanovic has recieved, i just can't see any reason why he'd want to stay.. I agree, he's constantly linked with the likes of AC Milan, I hope he doesn't go cause in the few games he's played for us he has looked top draw. Riccy Carvalho will be off in a few years (maybe even less) and that's when Ivanovic can step up to the plate for us. At the moment, we could lose him for as little as £7m. I really hope AC Milan make a move for him (Ivanovic) in Jan. Like you (and I) said, Riccy will be off in a couple of/few years and Mancienne can step up for us then. Which means Ivanovic or Alex has to go as Mancienne won't get chances and will leave if Ivanovic or Alex doesn't. Or we can sell Ferreira and make Ivanovic our 2nd RB and Mancienne our 4th CB. Maybe we should loan him to a small PL club soon.

I'm sure JT and Riccy isn't much better than him at the same stage. His stats show he was similar to JT around the same age: JT - DOB - 7-12-1980 Year Club Total Appearances Age 98-99 CFC 2 18/19 99-00 CFC 4 19/20 99-00 Nott FRst 6 20 Internationals Year Level Total Appearances Age 00-02 you-21 9 20-22 Mancienne - DOB - 08/01/1988 Year Club Total Appearances Age 06-07 QPR 26 18/19 07-08 QPR 32 19/20 Internationals Year Level Total Appearances Age 05-07 u19 10 18/19 07 - u21 8 19/20 ----------------- I know stats can be deceiving but how would we know he isn't good enough for us if we don't let him prove himself, like JT did? BlueLion. 21,491
Sell Bosingwa, he's fucking shite. Lampard too, he's awful. Anelka's useless, can't score to save his life and Cech couldn't catch AIDs if he had sex with a women from Kenya without protection. Sell them all, actually. carefreeluke 27
The likes of Mancienne , Sinclair, Di Santo etc its about time they got more of a chance in the first team. A good start would be tomorrow in the Carling Cup. Otherwise they just seem to kept being loaned out all the time. Everytime ive seen Sinclair play for Chelsea he has done well....For the last couple of years none of the managers have really gave the reserve team players a chance it will be nice to see that change. chrismada9 1,948
I don't want anybody to leave Chelsea. Our squad is good enough as it is. Although one player I would not be too bothered about leaving is Ferreira. Sell Bosingwa, he's fucking shite. Lampard too, he's awful. Anelka's useless, can't score to save his life and Cech couldn't catch AIDs if he had sex with a women from Kenya without protection. Sell them all, actually. Yeah agreed, but we shouldn't get rid of Ashley Cole. He's our best player by far Edited November 11, 2008 by CJ Revo
