We've had a good run of possession during this period of not dropping points but the attack has never been good. I think TT deserves some criticism because it hasn't gotten any better, questionable placement of players today. Final product and finishing were awful once again. Very weird decision, and playing Mount together with Ziyech as the two 10's was even more weird. Overcomplicating things for no fucking reason. Ziyech and Chilwell were just plain poor and Puli and Harvetz faded out of the game after 25 minutes or so. The Jorgi/Kante pivot was also poor at progressing the ball through the midfield. For me, I do not want anyone to keep on saying Chilwell or Ziyech should start until Alonso or two of the AM's do something really poor. Both were non-entities today. But I still question his decision to restore Pulisic to the starting 11 without merit. It felt like he was reacting to all the negative articles in the press about Pulisic. We've been pretty fortunate with some of the chances in the other matches we've converted. Once we have the lead we're tough to beat with how well we can hold possession in the 3-4-2-1.
