Today, I could not care less about the performance. This is an early kick off after the international break, and away to Newcastle. Just the 3 points. Grab them by any means, own goals, lots of fouls, ugly finishing. Whatever. Today, all I care about is just the victory.

So far he is cointaing him pretty well.

I just want him to try passing the ball forward more often. He has it in him but at times he chooses the safest option possible.

I watched that half without looking in this forum for the first time in ages and I thought we played really well... yea Werner missed a sitter but the energy in here is asif we are losing lol.

This would've been the absolute perfect match for the aggressive runs of Pulisic. Newcastle are parking the bus but we're still finding joy down the flanks. He would've been highly effective here.

We need our wide players to be more forceful in the second half. The pace of our attacks was a bit too slow most of the time.

I would love to see Giroud come in. Werner had a beautiful shot that was finger tipped away. His second shot barely wide. We do need to find the net soon.
