Welcome video for Maelys Mpome, CFCW's latest signing during a busy summer of multiple arrivals and departures.  The 21 year old is the latest Blues acquisition from France as Sonia Bompastor continues to put her stamp on the squad. Maelys is a highly rated CB who is rumoured to have had interest from Barca and Lyon. She joined last Wednesday, seemingly to have been signed as a backup but some smart money is predicting that she will be a starter long before the end of the season.  Watch her welcome video on chelseafc.com via the link below.

Fans have reacted with anger and frustration after the sold-out Women’s Super League match between Chelsea and Manchester United next Sunday was postponed with just a week’s notice following the release of the Women’s Champions League group stage fixtures.

Fans of both clubs labelled the decision a “farce” and an “embarrassment”, while the Chelsea Women’s Supporters Group said on X: “Absolute failure by the league. The club had to protect the players. We feel for all the supporters who have lost money on transport and hotels. As we said yesterday, it shouldn’t ever have got to this situation.”

Chelsea Women's Champions League campaign begins tomorrow with their first group stage fixture against Real Madrid at The Bridge. (The UWCL switches to the single league format from next season, when a second tier European competition for women's teams will also be introduced.)

Manager Sonia Bompastor, and captain Millie Bright, spoke to the media this afternoon about tomorrow's match. The game can be viewed on DAZN's YouTube channel. Kick off is at 20:00 BST.

Highlights of last season's away group fixture with Real. A game which, it's fair to say, the girl's felt was stolen from them by the officiating.

Chelsea opened their Champions League campaign with a 3-2 win against Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge.

Goals from Sjoeke Nusken and Guro Reiten put the Blues 2-0 up, only for Alba Redondo to pull a goal back for the visitors before the break.

Mayra Ramirez, who played for Spanish side Levante between 2022 and 2024, scored Chelsea’s third and although Linda Caicedo came off the bench to make it 3-2 late on, Madrid slipped to a first defeat of the season.

Emma is there - she cant stay away

She somehow managed to get US Soccer to pay for her trip. She's officially at the match to watch Emily Fox and Cat Macario. Both of whom are getting called up for Emma's next squad whether she sees them play live or not. 🙂
