I know you're being sarcastic but here are some truths:

1. Lampard spent over 200 million in the summer and we are 4 points worse off than at the same stage last season.

2. Lampard spent over 100 million on attacking players but does not seem to have a clue on how to fit the 2 biggest ones in and we are seemingly relying on ONE player again!?

3. Lampard spent over 100 million on attacking players and our only attacking play seems to be crosses, bog standard route one football that one comes to expect from a team like Burnley, West Brom and not a Top 4 side.

100%.

But the excuse remains - 'they did not have pre-season to click' :D

Tuchel? Soft? He went after Dortmund's CEO after giving into UEFA's shady demands. Let's remember this was the man many wanted after Conte.

Just to simply get the most out of our attacking talent, I would love Tuchel here.

At least he has experience managing top players and delivering attacking football

A problem that Tuchel has is that he has clashed with the board at Dortmund and PSG - over the different issues - and seemingly paid the price with his job both times. Can he co-exist with the setup we have at the club, with Marina etc?

Tuchel would be a horrible choice. Rather get Allegri

Think Allegri is underrated tactically but not sure his style of football would suit this team.

Much like how he got the job, Lampard might just survive in the job - even if the results continue to go south - because there are no better alternatives out there.

Tuchel does not get respect of the big players (mbappe and neymar) , but this is a common theme. Coaches like Tuchel, Mou and Nagelsmann will often not get respect of big players because they were not world class players themselves. Zidane gets it, but is a low level coach.

So not getting the respect of primma donnas in Mbappe and Neymar makes him a horrible choice? I think that is a poor argument. We don't have any players that put ego over the club. Klopp himself wasn't world class in any sense yet every one of his players improved under him.

Getting Allegri would virtually take all the work we did to move towards progressive football, down the drain.

Other than the disagreement with Dortmund's CEO on how they handled UEFA's demands, seems his biggest gripe is not having control over transfers. Never saw eye to eye with either technical director.

Personally, I think the squad is ready for him. But that said, if Lampard/Cech had full control, I don't see how he wouldn't? How much control he wants over transfers would definitely need to be addressed during the negotiations.

What a BS. Look at Mbappe‘s reaction after his sacking.

Tuchel is an amazing coach, very detailed and precise and furthermore tough af. He declared war to the Dortmund board while beimg the coach.

In Mainz, he was also very good and players have often praised his love for detail.

I think he would come good with our younger players - especially the Germans.

Not only that, it's highly rumored that the club backed Leonardo but the dressing room backed Tuchel.

No idea where he's getting the Neymar/Mbappe didn't want him.

I'm afraid lampard came too soon. He did nice things with Derby, but that's all.

The wrong man at the wrong time... he is still "young" for that class of a job... just look at his results against "the big" teams:

- Lost against Liverpool 2-0
- Lost against Everton 1-0
- Lost against Wolves 2-1
- Drew against Tottenham 0-0
- Drew against Man Utd 0-0
- Lost against Arsenal 3-1

he can't compete.

Definitely it was a daft move. To bring him last season also when had no window such a big ask. Now we've had a window not looking a lot better

We could bring Hiddink last season and maybe get the same results...

To lead this type of team, with a lot of new players and a big transfer budget, we need an experiance manager.

Haven't you seen all the Neymar and Mbappe vs Tuchel drama last couple of months?

And just because someone types "thank you coach" as a farewell after someone gets sacked, does not mean he is loved by a player.

Tuchel overthinks too much like Pep. At, Dortmund, he was good, but bottled it in the end. He could have done much better.
At PSG, his tactics have been many times average.

Virtually everything suggests the dressing room backed Tuchel. Matter of fact, it's highly reported there is discontent from PSG fans given the imbalance of their side that Leonardo has put together. The very reason why most sided with Tuchel yet the club backed Leonardo.

First coach to take them to a CL Final.

I’d gladly swap him for our novice who is breaking all negative records

And lost it?He also brought Choupo Mouting instead of Icardi in the final minutes. Why?

There could be a whole list of reasons why. At the end of the day, Icardi wasn’t his player.

And god forbid they lose 1-0 against the most efficient Bayern team in nearly 20 years.
