petre.ispirescu 4,928
Sorry then... Is he going to retire in summer? Hope so, can't see why he'd continue playing unless some MLS team offers him a €18-20M p/a contract.

Special Juan 28,141
Was subbed in the 88th minute and was not happy with Mancini.
bushman 2,043
I have been watching football for years, but one thing I would like to say here.To me, Drogba was the most powerful footballer I have ever seen. Just poetry in motion. Scored some crucial goals for Chelsea. Some rumors I have read recently, Didier may come to help, work with Chelsea´s strikers, I would say, hire him asap. nore_ega

Jase 43,479
I think the great reception he got adversely affected his game ,, Similar to his performance for us at Marseiles Think that certainly played a part in 'softening' him up. The other was just the fact Galatasaray were beyond rubbish. Also in typical Drogba fashion, his theatrics in drawing fouls from opposition were still there. Shame the happy whistle blowing referee Felix Brych bought it too easily! And oh, his free kick that hit the banner in the top tier was stupendous. The_Flash 1,144
I did slightly get the impression he was overwhelmed by being back, lots of hugs, waves, at the end tears, as if he couldn't bear to upset anyone so he played pretty poorly?
