Kojo 4,676
dude i am a big DD fan. i love the man with my heart n soul. when he came to india this summer, i bunked my exam, went against my parents, teachers, did what not to just see this guy once. but to say that he was the "main reason" will be an insult to the entire squad. every person deserves the credit. cole for his napoli save, rambo for barca(both legs), meireles for marking messi for large extent of times, mikel for his performance in the final, every1 played their part. Why am i bothering replying to this post?, where did i say it was just him?, what's the point I'm wasting my own time. Cosmin 2,484
Lol, torres at 39 is a joke. He shouldn't be anywhere near this list.I guess a lot of females voted.
Tacticalpanic 17
the spine of cech terry lampard drogba is ledgondary , does it really matter who ranks who where. at the same time though you cant just look at stats , it was very very rare that drogba's scored goals that didn't make much of a difference to a result. he gave our entire team confidence in a big game because there was ALLWAYS a drogba moment. HRiver 1,512
Drogba definitely deserves to be in the top 3, he's a Chelsea legend and will always be remembered as one of the club's greatest players of all time. He did so much for the club. So many important and decisive goals. But Lampard will always be number one for me.
Liquidator 5,176
The list is an absolute joke and an embarrassment. For example, Juan Mata has only been here for 1 and a half seasons yet he somehow makes it into the list higher than Eidur Gudjohnsen? Don't get me wrong I think Juan is a great player but its just stupid to call him a better Chelsea player than Pat Nevin, Ray Wilkins, Vialli etc. He hasn't been here long enough to justify being a 'legend'. (He probably will be one day) Torres? Are you serious? He has been one of if not our worst signing in history. How does someone who has been consistently poor in the 2 years that he has been here be regarded as one of our best ever? I suppose this is what you get when you allow brainless gloryhunters who know nothing about the club pre 2004 to vote.
chelseathebest 150
Anyone have the list? Or at least the top 10? I heard Torres was in the top 100...In that case, the list loses all of its sense...

Jase 43,479
Drogba may return to the club to train with us during the Chinese Super League close season ahead of next year's AFCON.http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8237799/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitterDidier Drogba has explained how Chelsea's desire for new blood saw him leave the European champions in the summer.Drogba left Stamford Bridge for Shanghai Shenhua after scoring the winning penalty in the Blues' UEFA Champions League triumph over Bayern Munich in May.And the 34-year-old Ivory Coast international claims he had wanted to stay but could not reach an agreement due to Chelsea's intention to move in a new direction."My priority was to stay at Chelsea to finish my career there, at the highest level, but the club wanted to bring new blood into the group," he told France Football."So we had negotiations for months without finding any agreement."I had the offer from Shanghai but I hesitated and hesitated. Finally I followed the advice of my former Le Mans coach and wrote two columns with the pros and cons of moving to China."I made my decision to leave before the Champions League final, even if I didn't sign anything at that moment."If we hadn't won I don't know how I would have reacted. Victory helped me to leave. It was the right time to go."But the veteran striker could be set for a return to Chelsea - to train with the team during the Chinese off-season in order to prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast in January.Drogba added: "At first I have to ask for authorisation from my club and then from Chelsea. And if everyone agrees it is possible I could go and train there ahead of the next Africa Cup of Nations."After that, Drogba has not ruled out one final move in order to pursue the final years of his career in the United States."I would like to try one last adventure, maybe in the USA," he said."I had offers last summer but it looked too much like what I knew in England. Everything didn't feel so unfamiliar."In two years' time it could be fine. I will be 37-years-old but I believe I will still have the desire to play." gary gordon 1,777
For me there is no doubt Drogba is the best striker we have ever had. The fact that he had a whinge to the media when we bought him, Got red carded in Moscow, was accused of getting at least two managers sacked, and isn't English means he will never be regarded by many as the greatest ever Chelsea player. I love him and i would rather him in his peak up front then any player in the world. We will never have another Didier Drogba.

BLionheart 516
Out of nowhere i felt like i really miss Didier Drogba so i youtubed him, remember him , what we had was a true legend , a lion , a King of the jungle , stroked fear into opponents , brushed them aside for fun , it was like he takes the confidence away from opponents and pass it on to his mates.Look at us , what we have is just a docile house cat now.Miss you Drogbaaaaa !!!
