Has our team became injury prone?

For the past few seasons we are struggling to keep our boys fit,we have a big squad but when you lose Drogba,Essien,both Cole's,Deco and possibly JT and Alex that is really a great danger for the season.We can't replace them all no matter how much players we bring in.And we must have our best players fit through all season long if we are to compete for silverware.Something is just not clicking we should not get as this many players injured as i don't see our competition in major injury problems like we are in.

Of course there's a certain amount of wear and tear on our players over the past few years but I think all the injuries coming together makes it seem worse than it is. Basically its a case of 'shit happens'. United have had their share, so we're hardly unique when it comes to having players out but unfortunately for us, with the exception of Scholes, there's all seem to be coming back as ours are getting injured.
