I think the flight of the ball at first looked as if it would be going straight and then it did dip a bit before it went in, maybe played a part. Not sure though maybe someone with more knowledge on GKs might have another opinion. I think its very harsh to say that he should have saved it. I would rather talk about that as I thought it was an immense save to make, already dove left but was able to react with his hand to the ball's changed direction. I thought this initially but on the replays the ball seemed to dip massively towards the end. Think it just needs chalking up as one of those hit and hope efforts that come off almost perfectly and fly in once every 100 attempts. We are just conceding too many goals which leave you wondering could he have done better? I have a feeling its more to do with Lampard's goal keeping coach since he has regressed massively this season.
