Viveash: Chelsea academy has raft of top local prospects

Former Walsall favourite Adi Viveash has joined the coaching staff at Chelsea.

Viveash takes charge of the Chelsea U12s and said: “If you have got a good one, and there are some diamonds in the Chelsea academy that will definitely push on into the first team, they will play.

“There are a couple around the youth team who are local home grown lads and are on the verge of big things. Certainly in the under-16s there are probably 10 local boys who have got an extremely good chance of progressing.”

Saw that he has joined to coach the U12's.....

I am sure that he is right, every new crop that comes through the standard is getting higher, we do have a very good group of English players in the U16's right now.
