this quoted price tag is absolutely ludicrous. Chelsea will never pay anything close to 70m Euro for a goalie. No matter what we get for Courtois IF we sell him it wont be directly reinvested into Alisson, thats not how our board works. That being said he would be marvelous here.

There's so much competition for Alisson that I would hope our club are smart enough to have him 100% locked up before sending Courtois away. Ideally, we sell Tibo to Madrid and bring in Alisson, thereby screwing Liverpool out of their top summer target whilst also upgrading our keeper.

Us offering 70m for a goalkeeper is unheard of and it only makes sense if we are already in touching distance of Courtois' money, the above news suggests it is so. With the way our transfer stories are popping up, it seems like the club understands the need for drastic changes and is ready to be more aggressive. Sarri's project could be a huge selling point tbh.
