Problem could be that if somehow we can't get Sarri, Jorginho gives up too. And not getting Sarri could still be an option, unfortunately, because of all legal crap and ADL.

If it happens today or Monday isn't the important detail that we got him? The last three years shows Chelsea take longer to get deals over the line even after they're confirmed.

So what's the fucking hold up, then? :middlefinger:

“De Laurentiis wants to close this window, after Jorginho goes to Chelsea then the route from Naples to London will be closed, for any player.

“Today or tomorrow Sarri could sign, it’s close and is about to happen.

Well, I'm glad you're so convinced. I'll continue to be skeptical until I see any player holding up the shirt.

I can understand the caution to a point but when have rumours regarding us gone this far and not happened? Only time i can remember is Robinho.

Jorginho ... Robinho - City involvement... It stinks of de ja vu lol - I'm confident this will happen now though , so many reporting it's done.

It was 10 years ago under totally different circumstances.

But you said yourself, you understand to a point and 10 years ago or not doesn't matter, it's probably more likely to happen this day and age and reason to be even more cautious.

But.. it seems like it's done, that's all that matters now :D

Going to be nice having a competitive midfield for a change.

From what I've read this sounds like the key cog in Sarri's system so to go and get the real thing is a big positive.

You also can't help but feel that Chelsea are buying 'all-in' on Sarri. It's been a while since we competed against one of the big boys for such a big priced transfer target. Also, the amount of time they invested on getting Sarri in when it didn't look like happening and if our transfer targets are rumoured to be correct, then they all seem to be hand picked by Sarri.

I am hoping that this would also suggest that Chelsea are prepared to give Sarri some time and patience to get his ideas and philosophy across to the players. The last thing we want is a rocky month or so early on and the knives are sharpening to get rid of him!
