Finally the major problem which is our attacking play in final third...we are going for fancy tricks which is never going to work..our movement and attacking shape is also not good...overall this is what our level is currently if we try more attacking approach...need more quality players especially wing backs which our fans are saying since summer ..a world class striker is needed and a midfield partner to kante is crucial... No way did they deserve to win 3-0 and 4-1 on aggregate. Can't fault the effort and commitment of the players over the two legs but sadly, we were found wanting at both ends of the pitch, especially defensively. We basically lost the game at Stamford Bridge. We should have used the same approach in this game at Stamford Bridge but Conte was in awe of Barcelona and was telling us we're going to have to "suffer". At home. What is wrong with our approach today....you cannot blame coach everytime...this is the level of players at the moment.. cfcs most wanted 657 Posted March 14, 2018 Share Posted March 14, 2018 Nobody gave Chelsea much of a chance and rightly so, Chelsea are not the team they used to be, the players gave it their all, and we were the better team for the two legs, but not everyone has Messi to show in their ranks, yet after the Man City game, all that I wanted was the fighting spirit and it was there to see, even after being 2-0 down. I disagree, at home it is important to be conservative especially in the 1st leg. If we were down 2-0 at home, it is practically over.
