It's not like we still haven't stepped up for players. Went in strong for Harri

If Wilian was 28 Marina would renew him! We turned down 65 MILLION QUID for his POS arse. I have zero faith we upgrade. Roman is on lock-down spend as he KNOWS his nutsack is in a global vice over Putin ties.

No he's a good buy. We are going back to the style we wanted to implement before Mourinho came back. When we bought Mata, kdb, Oscar, and hazard.  Pulisic will be one of these type of players. We

Are peeps looking at him as HES A GOOD PLAYER or good player FOR HIS AGE? With 7 goals and 5 assists in 45 games do we think hes a upgrade? For over 70me I'm sure we could try for someone be

I hope people are not seriously suggesting Adama Traore. We often complain about Willian's football IQ (or lack thereof) but in comparison to Traore he is like prime Zidane. Traore is nowhere near goo

Hope you're wrong Mrs.

Still befuddles me why she held out for another £5mill for him. Completely daft.

Now who wants him?

Supposedly on the brink of joining Victimpool.

I have a bad feeling we could regret not signing him. He has electric speed. Something we don't really have in our squad.

Yea it's strange. His end product needs work.... fair enough but his direct speed would be a nightmare for defenders to cope with.

Maybe its because Dortmund are after the CHO swap? Might be good tho if we stick in the buy back clause.

He would give us another player who excels in 1 v 1s, like Eden. His end product is alright nothing special but at 20 yesr old who had the finished end product... Neymar didnt, Messi didn't, Ronaldo didnt, Hazard didnt... If he goes to Liverpool we will regret it 100%.

When Eden was 20, he scored 20 goals and assisted 16 for lille. Sure french league isnt super competitive, but neither is german these days. Neymar and Messi both had double figures too. That said its pointless to compare him with Messi or Ronaldo who are on another level.

But Pulisic didnt even get close to double figures, his record is 4 goals.

Its possible he will improve indeed, but for now he shows no potential ability to be dangerous finisher, something we desperately lack.

Also he is behind pecking order in bvb behind Sancho and Larsen. How is he supposed to start here if he cant even perform better than Larsen in bvb?

Tbh he could be used as backup in pool. They have 3 excellent players in attack. If he doesnt perform straight away, its no biggie. Klopp can work him out and they still have Salah, Mane and Shaqiri for the wings. Also if they decide to play him as#10, he will get alot of support from teammates who will make him better.

We on other hand need someone to start on RW and improve us immediately. Pulisic is just wrong player for that. Lot of potential, but we need someone to show it straight away, bench Willian and cope with pressure. Besides Eden, we dont realy have anyone great in attack, so Pulisic would be under big big pressure to perform, because there would be no one to cover his ass for poor games unlike in pool.

He was 21 that season, playing really well yes but hes never been that productive in terms of goal involvement either. He had been featuring every week for about 3 years but even his first 2 seasons here his final ball wasn't perfect. Under Mourinho was when he started improving his final ball and his consistency was improving. The point is players need time to become consistent with their end product, Pulisic is the same, hes not a goalscorer perhaps but his game would improve under Sarri.

Yeah but in the end, Eden did make double figures on goals and assists when he was 20/21. Pulisic just didnt show that yet. When you watch him, you can see he has very little power in his shots and not very clinical either. When he dribbles past opponent, he almost always makes mistake by haggling on ball too long and then falling down or losing it when he should pass few seconds earlier. Not saying he wont do it one day, but he is very very raw. Lets say he comes here, and then he proceeds to be as frustrating as Willian first couple months, losing balls and not making passes,.... Do you think we will have patience to develop him?

He is better than Willian already. He will get a lot lot better too.

Stats show this as well.

Remember he is on a pinball offence scoring machine at Dortmund and has had great scorers around him to crank up his assists

15 total goals in 115 games (the first chart was last updated 2 weeks ago)

24 assists in 115 games, BUT 13 of those came 2 years ago and only 8 of those were league, he piled up assists against weak CL qualifiers and DB Pokal teams

He also had Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (40 goals) and Ousmane Dembélé, Marco Reus, Götze, etc running riot

If he wasn't American, he would be getting little hype at all

I dont see this at all, he barely scores.

15 goals in 115 games, only 10 of them league goals, and many of his assists (he had ONE decent year there, and that was with Abameyang scoring 40 goals, plus Dembele, etc running riot) have come against weak CL qualifying and DB Pokal sides.

It is cray cray to think he is worth £70m (or 60m).

Let's be fair here for a minute - Pulisic was contributing those numbers in his teens. If you expected him to produce 20 goals and 20 assists per season at 17-19 years old, then you must be crazy. Not everyone is Mbappe in their teens! I don't know whether you watch him regularly but based on what I've seen, Pulisic definitely has the talent and potential to be one of the best in the future. It's not right to be judging him solely on goals/assists and/or brushing him side because of the 'American hype' factor. If given the choice, I don't think he would want all this spotlight on him, certainly not when he's not the finished article just yet.

Also, goals are goals and assists are assists. If you're gonna start be picky about how/when/where they come, then you should start doing that for everyone. And many of Pulisic's assists have come against weak CL and DFB Pokal sides? 16 of his 24 assists for Dortmund have come in the Bundesliga while he's got only 4 in the DFB Pokal and 4 in the Champions League. How is that "many of his assists have come against weak CL qualifying and DFB Pokal sides"?

Saw that on The Mirror and it was based on the bookies, which isn't the most reliable of indicators, rather than any reports in Germany etc.
