I think your right mate we should take the ban on the chin

With the exception of the Kepa deal this is a club which over the last couple of seasons at least has struggled getting deals sorted out quickly. The Kepa deal would have been far easier too as it was simply a case of paying his release clause or not having him.

If we deferred the ban this summer to have it next summer, we do not want to be panic buying over a 2-3 week window for the next 2 years.

so we may end up with 10 days, two or 3 weeks (at best) of window, AND then we will surely NOT HAVE a summer 2020 window, so it will not be in reality until summer 2021 to really (as winter window is a nightmare) sort shit out!!!

we are almost better off not getting a deferral

Surely our board will be hard at work negotiating with clubs and players on the assumption that CAS will grant us the stay. They won't be sitting in their hands doing nothing. We just have to pray a decision is made swiftly before any players we're after go elsewhere.

If we do have to wait months before knowing one way or the other, it'll be depressing as hell watching all our rivals signing big players and improving their teams.

Hopefully things are in motion as we speak.

You're giving them too much credit

They don't seem to do that when we do have a actual window. Prob just tralalala along as usual.

Even if we are negotating already, the club has zero proof that we will get ban postponed. So its all on good word.

And Im sure many good players will opt out for reliable option rather than agreeing with us hoping we get ban postponed or their chance for transfer to top club falls in the water.

All the promising players are coveted by best clubs in the world and they will go there because they know the transfer will be completed.

That said, Im pretty sure we are not even in the first stages of targeting players. The board is incompetent, they will start with their work in those last 10 days.

This is another disaster for us realy.

Unreal. Why was this not done the instant our appeal was denied?

This club is seriously run by amateurs. From signings, to scheduling, to respecting traveling fans, to dealing with the transfer ban. It's like they have no clue what they're doing.

I can only assume that they have been advised that it's unlikely they'll get the ban either deferred or cancelled altogether by their lawyers.

The additional worry is that the ban is increased further. I wouldn't put it past something like this happening, controversy follows this club.
