Tautvix 1,321
Drinkwater earned his place in starting 11 vs Newcastle. Bakayoko earned the bench today.
Jase 43,479
Surely we won't screw this up? This game feels like one of those 'trap' games.
Laylabelle 9,535
Hopefully not.. Wouldn't surprise me though. Plus derby can be hit and miss and West Ham didn't play to bad against City they just got the last minute goal. Which we're not good at getting.. Hopefully no annoying waste of chances
MrExcalibur100 7,124
With the way some of our top players are playing at the moment , anything other than a comfortable win will be a letdown.
Stats 7,145
Team picks itself. Never been so sure about what the 11 will be and quite happy with that team too. Looked very good against Newcastle and against an injury-ravaged West Ham, we should be getting 3 points comfortably if we put our minds to it. Pizy 18,918
Didn't Adrian have the game of his life against us within the past couple of years? I recall him playing out of his skin one time. Anyways, no Carroll would be nice. Chicharito is annoying as fuck, though.

Same with Drinkwater, he probably is not in condition still to play 180 minutes in 3 days, so he's back in selection for this one and considering Bakayoko's horror shows, Conte doesn't have much choice. Courtois Azpi - Christensen - Cahill Moses - Kante - Drinkwater - Alonso Fabregas Morata - Hazard I can't believe the notion that Alonso was "rested" in what was effectively our most important game of the season thus far yet everyone else played. Unsure about Drinkwater's situation as well considering Moses could start two games in the same time frame despite recently returning.

If he starts against Wet Spam, will you then believe he was rested? And most important game? We had already qualified, nothing to play for except for 1st or 2nd place formality. Our most important games have been in the league and Alonso has started all of them. And the physical conditions of Drinks and Moses could be different, only Conte and his fitness coaches know. Or it was just a necessary risk to start Moses to accomodate Zap in order to give Alonso a break.

Other players should have been rested if that was the case. I'm aware of the fact we had already qualified, but it was clear for all to see Conte wanted to win the group despite his comments.
