quickpassnmove 924
Nice performance from Bakayoko. All three of Tiemoue, Antonio, and Andreas have filled me with some confidence about our new squad so far this season.

Trolling at its best. 5 minutes ago, BluesMadLad said: Why isn't morata playing in this game he needs goals n more confidence imo. Because he is our no.1 striker and we have a packed schedule coming up where we need him leading the line and think the confidence issue and him needing goals is being exaggerated. He has scored 3 PL goals, assisted 2. Why does he need more confidence. One game against Arsenal where he was not bad does not mean he is low on confidence. He is doing fine. manpe 10,861
Rüdiger needs to start. Sick passing range and so much better on the ball than Cahill, much faster too. Bakayoko is a beast in the making, pairing him with Kante will be a sight to see. Both are exceptional ball-winners, one of them quick and clever and the other a strong powerhouse. Both being French too will add to their chemistry. Musonda is very talented and very determined, natural on the ball. Opponents had to foul him like they normally foul Hazard. I like him and think he could have a bright future if he plays his cards right. Pedro and Willian are not getting any younger, if he's patient enough, he might just make it here. Didn't see anything special in that Ampadu kid, didn't influence the game enough and every ambitious pass he tried failed.

Hazard looked back to his best. I don't think I'm that hard to please. I thought that the goals we scored in the first half pretty much came down to poor defending (except for Rudiger's cross). It sort of looked like a training match, which given the opposition is kind of expected. I guess that there's just a certain intensity that I've come to expect from this Conte side and I suppose (in hindsight) it was never really going to be there in this match. Rest/rotation + easy win + no injuries = me pleased

Yes a 17 year old making his debut in front of 40,000 and playing in midfield even though he's a centre back. I feel fucking cheated I paid my money tonight expecting to see the new Zidane. Maybe Conte's hands were forced by Drinkwater's injury but we all know Fabregas does his best work when he's fresh mentally and physically and playing him yesterday for the 4th straight game was definitely overkill. Granted he wasn't the only bad performer on the day but we saw the drop off in performance against Arsenal. We would probably still have won comfortably without him given how terrible Forest were.
