Rüdiger is a god damn beast, there is no way Cahill is walking back into the starting 11 just like that.

He's been super solid.  I really like what I've seen today.  Rudiger/Cahill/Azpi for the 2 outside CB spots.  David Luiz and AC in the middle.  If we can get that kind of depth in CM and WB, I'll be very happy.

Why would Conte change a winning formula though. Two games without Cahill, two wins. If we win the third one too, it would be odd if he changed anything.

He dropped John Terry. He could surely drop Cahill.

Despite the assist, I think that Azpi has been the shakiest defender today.  Had a terrible giveaway in the second half that lead to a 2 v 2 break.

Not only has he been shaky, but he has been flat out terrible.

Two games in a row now. No one will bring it up though.

Well, he was just appointed our new captain...That's why I'm thinking he will come back. Sadly. We are much better without him + Azpi is the real captain.

To be fair, he's earned a lot of leeway.

Our most consistent player for a few seasons now definitely buys him a couple bad performances, especially when those are (most likely going to be) two wins.

Definately.  More than a couple of bad performances.
