DONI. 1,291
The international portuguese player joined AS Monaco FC for the next saison 2013-2014. Free of contract after 3 seasons in Real Madrid, Ricardo Carvalho signed this tuesday for one season with one year in option. After FC Porto, Chelsea and Real Madrid, the defender, 35 years old, will play in a new "exciting league. I'm very happy to join AS Monaco FC and to be part of the new adventure. This is a new challenge for me".
Mário César 1,270
Better than Terry?
Spike 12,049
Better than Terry?Maybe. Certainly a completely different player to Terry. But he was wrecked my injuries and hasn't had the longetivity of Terry.

BlueLyon 9,359
I think pair of Terry and Ricky in general was superb, one of best ever, credit goes to Cech aswell and there was Cole at his prime, one of best full backs of last ten years...god we were so lucky to see them all play for us. The Skipper 20,609
Nah, JT was better. Carvalho was the flashier one out of the two but JT makes anyone that plays with him a better player. manpe and Tomo
OneMoSalah 8,886
What I loved about Riccy was he wasn't particularly a really tall player or really strong but he was quick for a CB, excellent at reading the game and despite being physically smaller than most CBs in the PL at the time would throw himself into tackles. Was a brilliant player for us, hes still kicking ass in France too. Think he was better than JT tbh, both exceptional CBs though.
We Hate Scouse 10,326
Hahaha http://metro.co.uk/2014/01/11/oops-former-chelsea-defender-ricardo-carvalho-forgets-how-to-wear-a-football-kit-4258438/Professional footballers have a bit of a reputation for not being the brightest members of society, but you’d think they can at least put clothes on properly. However, it appears not, with Monaco defender Ricardo Carvalho wearing his shirt the wrong way around during a game with Montpellier this week. The former Chelsea star was desperate to get onto the pitch but accidentally put his top on the wrong way – before the referee had to point it out.Carvalho, who has made over 500 professional appearances, will hopefully learn from the incident. Popular Post! manpe 10,861 Posted March 30, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted March 30, 2015 I have his autograph from the time Portugal played in Estonia. My now passed away friend got it for me for my birthday as he attended the game. I love him, and I love Carvalho. And I love Chelsea. It means so much to me. sLOVEnian Blue, The Chels, iseah100 and 8 others
Popular Post! nyikolajevics 2,700 Posted May 17, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted May 17, 2016 He made it to Portugal's 25 men squad and likely to feature in the EC, just like Gudjohnsen in Iceland.  Damn, who would have said in 2005 that Ricky and Eidur will play in the EC in 2016? That wouldve sound ridiculous, but im glad they made it, amazing players and good men. Amblève., Johnnyeye, DYC. and 3 others

OhForAGreavsie 6,075
^^Those were the days. It was great to see Riccy on Monday night. If he's not working at the moment it would be brilliant to see him around the club a lot more.
