BlueLion. 21,491
According to mass media reports, Balley has said he plans to end his career following another two years with the Blues and the World Cup in 2010. Its a likely statement, as he will be 32 in September afterall.

Ollie 4,400
Seems a reasonable time to do it. well Hopefully he'll have 2 big years left with us winning loads of trophies before he goes. TylerCFC 7
I'm glad he realizes that it's time for him to go in two years. Nothing worse than an ignorant over the hill football star. Hopefully he'll be able to win a major tournament for once. Hopefully the World Cup for us in two years.
misschief 24
Whether or not he will give it all up in two years or not, we'll have to wait and see. I always admire players prepared to retire before they're completely past it though. Loved his dig about wanting a five year contract though. Class. Gianfranco_Z 202
Good ! Lol? Meh, bit gutted, i reckon he could go abit longer than that surely.
EskWeston 696
Not suprising to see that is when he intends to retire. It is hard after that time to play at the very highest level and he obviously wants to go out on the top of his game. Fair play to him. Elliott 7
I hope he retires whenever he's no longer good enough to play for us.
BlueLion. 21,491
Good ! Ballack was incredible for us last season. If we would have had his goalscoring throughout the season, we might have won something.
