BlueLion. 21,491
Aye, went to the one in 2006 and had a good laugh. Problem for me is that its such an early start, considering I'm not a locally-based fan.
blue_army 2
Days like this show how the club has moved further away from the fans i mean 1 training session and probably no autographs either god when i was a kid i used to spend so many days in the holidays down at harlington at the edge of the pitches watching training then the players would all come over , have a chat , sign autographs etc and if they wasnt many of you there and they wern't rushing off a few would have a little kick about with you. middleoftheshed 388
I'll be there. Hopefully there will be more of the squad there this year as last time half the players were missing.

Would be nice to see the players doing that but they are just too "high profile" these days, they get a lot more attention than players used to

Kez 2,727
No idea CJ, it is a really early start. If you go have fun
Elliott 7
9.30 isn't that early and I've been a student for the last 3 years.
Kez 2,727
It's early for fans that don't live in London
Elliott 7
Well, most true fans will live in or around London in general. Not that I want to infer that fans who do not live in or around London are second-rate fans, just that most of the clubs real fans will be living near to London. Kez 2,727
I am a real fan but I don't live in London, you don't have to live in London to be a "real fan"

BlueLion. 21,491
No offence taken, Elliott. Note to self: add Elliott to death list
Kez 2,727
Yeah i know what you're saying Elliot it's more conveniant for local fans to go to it, but the club should think about fans that aren't living so close

BlueLion. 21,491
Hah, that day was brilliant, especially when Johnny conned Essien into buying everyone a drink
