Cahill looked like the new Jackie Charlton early on, but I 'm afraid he ain't up to it.
Luiz back was never my choice but he is bound to strengthen us if he is the Luiz we knew, given the less than excelent quality of the present defensive formation.

If the good Liverpool show up the we are in for a tough night, but even then if we can't get a couple past their defense (which is by far the worst I've ever seen for a top 7/8 club in England) then we don't deserve anything. Can see a 2-2 under that circumstance.

If the poor Liverpool show up, then we can/probably will cruise this in second gear, 2-0.

We might as well not turn up as we are going to get an awful ref who is going to screw us just like today. Conte's first big test. Liverpool's attacking power is looking really good. Our back 4 is far from solid. Perhaps its a good game to try 3CB.
