Luiz back was never my choice but he is bound to strengthen us if he is the Luiz we knew, given the less than excelent quality of the present defensive formation. Tomo 21,751 Posted September 11, 2016 Share Posted September 11, 2016 If the good Liverpool show up the we are in for a tough night, but even then if we can't get a couple past their defense (which is by far the worst I've ever seen for a top 7/8 club in England) then we don't deserve anything. Liverpool always kicks off and it doesn't matter what Diego does they have him set up as some monster which is a joke. He's got his mojo back scoring some great goals. He just needs to keep his cool, I was proud of him today seeing Fabiankski right in his face saying he had dived I don't know how he didn't give a nice Glasgow kiss. Better not sputter for 45-60 minutes then wake up after some subs. The lineup needs to be better for this one. Too bad Chalobah didn't get a shot in the Swansea match instead of Oscar. Brana in the middle has never been a problem for me, with Kante there for extra security, and Matic breaking up play further up the field surely we could afford the luxury of Fabregas' creativity, Oscar has been playing well but I just think we're over doing it with work ethic over style and chance creating in the middle of the park. Fabregas feeding an in form Costa could cause Liverpool tonnes of problems. In terms of the wide players, Hazard had a dodgy game but he's a nailed on starter, hopefully he brings his balls this time, I'm sure Conte will light a fire underneath him. Likewise Willian, work ethic is key when you are playing Hazard on the other side, I think he offers slightly more going forward than Pedro or Moses.
