jernej93 569
Impossible but this would be my lineup: Courtois Aina - Ivanović - Cahill - Azpi Willian - Kante - Oscar Moses/Cuadrado - Costa - Hazard

petre.ispirescu 4,928
Should be a great match this. Conte and Mazzarri hate eachothers guts, they are like a lesser version of Mourinho vs Wenger. Matches between them two are always full of intensity and goals. Conte has only lost once to Mazzarri's teams, in the Italian Cup (0-2 vs Napoli). It's always been Conte's 3-5-2 vs Mazzarri's 3-5-2 in every match they've played against eachother. Mazzarri has implemented the 3-5-2 at Watford, too, they played like that in the 1st round at Southampton, so it's interesting to see Conte's team selection for this one. Pizy 18,916
This is the type of match that Kante will hopefully dominate. He'll need to really help the CB's out against these two strikers.
Tomo 21,751
What's this desperation to get Chalobah to play, he's had two spells at top flight clubs and couldn't buy a game, if we signed him this summer he would be instantly wrote off as another Papy but because he was on loan he is the answer to our midfield prayers Same with Kalas and Bamford last season, i don't get it, the ironic thing is Papy is more proven in major league's than those three are as well. Yeah but the fact is, he's one of us. An academy player who's gone out and picked up experience of different coaching and coming back to be implemented into the first team. Nothing would be better for himself, the club and fans. He's not exactly a bad player and was vital for Watford when they were trying to get promoted with Zola, so I'm sure he'd love it too. AWorriedChelseaFan 151
Still no new signings being made after the first PL game, huh ? Oh well, still confident we can get 3 points off of both Burnley/Watford.

He's not a bad player but the fact is he's got no pedigree at the top flight and his two opportunities in top flight teams he couldn't get near the lineup on either occasion. Its just rather ironic and borderline hypocritical that fans blast the club for lack of ambition signing the likes of Papy and being linked with the likes of Kone, yet want a player with even less pedigree than them two integrated in the side, I could understand an 18 year old with potential who hasn't had the platform to showcase his talents, but Nat has, at two top flight teams. And it's not just with Chalobah, Kalas was a squad player for a championship side yet a lot of people wanted him back, imagine if we signed outright a similar profile of player? At a push Nate could become a John O Shea like reliable squad player, but I will be truly amazed if he becomes more than that.
Pizy 18,916
Was just reading that Mazzari likes playing a 3-5-2 and that it's likely what we'll see tomorrow. Wonder if Conte will start with Cesc instead of Oscar in this one to exploit that. Through balls and balls over the top for Diego could wreak havoc. With both Matic and Kante behind him it's worth a try. Oscar can always come on if it doesn't work.
Unionjack 7,531
Eden-Costa-Cuadrado/Moses Chaloba-N'Golo-Willian Ola-JT-Bane-Dave 10:00 Euston or The Moon Under Water Unless you fancy one with us in the Red Lion Slante!
Beigl 1,387
Would love to see something like this: Courtois Ivanović - Terry - Azpi Willian - Kante - Matic - Fabregas - Hazard Costa - Batshuayi Hazard as wingback and the lack of pace from Iva and Terry might be weaknesses, but other than that it would be worth a shot in my opinion. But realistically Conte will field this team: Courtois Iva - Cahill - Terry - Azpi Kante- Matic - Oscar Willian - Costa - Hazard Like this Like this
