Sick and tired of the idiot media/journalists killing Sarri about Kante's position. Saying he's "wasted" higher up the pitch. Lost track of the number of pundits bemoaning the fact that "Chelsea have the best DM in the world and aren't playing him there." You can tell these people watch us only in the biggest matches when we've struggled and haven't watched all of our games.

in reality, Kante is having by far his best ever season in an attacking sense and in this new position can win the ball effectively higher up the pitch. He's clearly developed significantly under Sarri.

The problem with this position he's in is what happens when we lose the ball, not simply where he lines up. That's something that needs to be solved.

You are right, but IMO they are only saying that because Jorginho's been a fraud lately. He is looking more and more like another big flop.

How does Kante continue to escape criticism? if anyone watched the game objectively, they could see how much at fault he was. He was piss poor, extremely ineffective at pressing, leaving incredible amount of space of Jorginho for to clean up. Than there is also the amount of space Barkley left behind for Jorginho.

THANK YOU. Whenever he is not good enough people blame Jorginho, ergo, they blame Sarri. And our coach said himself that Kante goes too much forward at times and that he doesn't like that.

Defending is collective thing and indeed both Kante, Barkley but also entire back four, specialy Alonso close the space incredibly bad. 

Dont know if they are just shit or its hard for them since this is new system, but either way its not just Jorginho fault. PS: Alonso is definately shit though.

Its unfair to blame Jorginho for defense. He isnt anywhere great, but he cant keep the line alone. There is a whole mountain of points where Jorginho is at fault though, but defense is absolutely collective thing and they are all to blame.

Kante is equally to be blamed ... as pointed out that he tends to go overboard when making the forward runs. 

But I said this start of the season that we will need to give him a year to accommodate in a position which is by no means his. U ask Kante to save Jorginho's ass and trust me 10/10 everyone would say he is best person for that job but you ask him to make that forward run for the goal I'm sure 10/10 everyone would prefer someone else. Thats the reason I believe he escape criticism and also because he isnt playing the game half heart ... he is really shows the enthusiasm of a 20 year old in the position which is not his.

Good points, but you are leaving out the attackers, whose omission caused the middle to get overwhelmed. Esp the wingers who need to stop the runs of their FBs. The whole team defended poorly which overwhelmed every other section. Little Kante could do.

Strange to start with the striker in this game too when you needed more bodies chasing... esp an immobile one as Higuain.
