Milan 17,575
Once he starts performing on the pitch in the same way he is performing on social media, then fair enough. I prefer players that have the performances speaking for themselves. I don't remember Cech, Lampard, Drogba or other big boy doing that. That's it.

Probably because Instagram isnt something they grew up with. Lighten the fuck up.
Milan 17,575
Right, because Facebook for instance, where all of those listed are, is something new.

Thor 1,532
I'll say it again, but people really hammer into these players as soon as they get into the bad book. He was quite good against Everton when he came on, and even then people found the 1 or 2 small errors and made it seem like the worst thing ever. Kid is hungry and wanting to do well. Not to mention stayed, and wants to fight for his position. It is the same people who are never satisfied. He leaves - "oh he didn't want to fight for his position". He stays - "oh, he is shit, he can't make it here. Needs to go!". Good on him for staying. He most definitely is good enough. Had a bad start after a good pre season. He knows he has played poorly, and judging by the Everton game, he is working hard to improve. Complain all you want, but he is here until January at the very least.

SadistChicken 143
Just let him do whatever he wants with social media. As long as it's not affecting the club in a negative ways we should just let it be, it's his life for gods sake.Sent from my ONEPLUS A3010 using Tapatalk
Jase 43,476
I know they are different players and different players adapt differently but it doesn't look good on Batshuayi when Morata has made more of an impression in the starting XI in 2 1/2 matches than Batshuayi has in one season+. Jase 43,476
Got the goal but didn't convince...again. Dodgy movement, passing was sloppy and fell over almost every time under the slightest bit of challenge. At this rate, we better pray Morata doesn't get injured.
Polo7 3,496
In the first half Azpi was in the same position as when he crossed the ball for Morata against Leicester. Michy was just staring at him instead of running into the box. Summed it up for me.
El P. 1,354
We need new striker in January.
Tautvix 1,321
Michy is the reason we must have bought a striker... No offence to the guy but that was very very poor.
Abreu03 292
He's not a striker. Second striker, maybe. That's the reality. It's not useful for the team.

Jase 43,476
Honestly, how have we allowed ourselves to go into the season, with the Champions League this time, with only 2 strikers? Such poor planning!
Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
Very poor performance again. Michy Is such a lamp-post up front, just standing still making the opposing CB's job that much easier. He needs to desperately stop pinning his CB's because he's not winning those physical battles and his 1-touch flick ons are constantly getting blocked. Has got to start coming deep if he wants to link-up play and get in behind. Because It's just too easy for the opposition right now.

Such poor planning! Get ready for False 9 Eden Hazard when Morata eventually has to miss a game and the opponent is not Qarabag level quality. Desperately need a 2nd Striker that Conte can rely upon.

blueblood22 50
he need hours and hours of work in the jym and stop expecting the ref to give him every call...
OneMoSalah 7,739
For me, he has to go in January and if not he wont have any sort of future here next year if he is going to play that poorly against that level of opposition. Sloppy on the ball, can't run in behind defences or even make obvious runs off the ball? Also does he not look extremely slow? It is a big season for him this year but if he continues to get chances up to January and plays that poorly he'll be off before he knows it. Let's hope Costa comes back and gets his arse in gear incase Morata gets injured.
