I could see how it can be beneficial for Willian as a Cm, he can be dangerous taking the ball from midfield, by making his trademark bursts.I went with Oscar as CM because I think from a defensive standpoint he has good tactical awareness and understands the position better. He has often dropped deep to allow Cesc to move forward, so for me it was a natural choice. He has played in the pivot before, just not from the beginning of the game.We really do don't move well off the ball in the attacking sequence, the option to pass is not always there or should I say it takes time for that option to develop. So that plays to Willian strength, Willian is quite strong on the ball and he can hold on to the ball much longer until available pass options develop. In comparison to Oscar, this plays to his weakness. He is physically limited, he is quite easily pushed off the ball by stronger defenders the more time he is holding on to the ball the more that plays to his weakness. He likes to make quick passes, use his off the ball movement and make instinctive decisions. So based on that I chose Willian as CAM due to his possession abilility, and I feel more space could benefit Oscar game as CM. he gives you better defensive ability then Cesc, and better offensively then Ramires. Jase 43,479
none of those look winnable..Indeed. Out of our next 8 league games, think we'll pick up only 9 points. Anything more seems like a bonus right now.

Stats 7,145
As bad as Cesc has been, he is fine to start this match. These are the matches where he will be useful. We are going to control play for most of the match. Fabregas will be the main dictator and he will not really be exploited these kind of games. I would have him as a definite starter. It is the game in the league after at Spurs, where we should have him out the team because he will be exposed more. I would have 100% have him in the team for Norwich though. Muzchap 8,966
As much as I want us to win, I know we will most likely loose. It's scary right now - a few more losses and we could be truly in the relegation mixI do think there is an element of we're too big to fail. Try explaining that to Lehmans Brothers... Bigger you are, the harder you fallNo opposition manager has to give a motivational team talk now - they can pinpoint our weaknesses and exploit them consistently. Pardew has always worked it out against us - others are now following suite.
Jase 43,479
Norwich have been inconsistent this season but on a whole, they are a decent side and Alex Neil seems like someone who knows what he's doing. They'll be tough to beat. Even City struggled against them recently.

Starman60 1,343
For once I am delighted to have an international break coming up. I know a lot of players will be away on duty, but a least the spotlight will be off us for a week or two. As for the Norwich game? Well if we don't win this one we will be in a relegation battle, and lets not kid ourselves otherwise.Makes very sad reading when you look at the only teams we've beaten so far this season. Struggling WBA, 9 man Arsenal and bottom of the table Villa. But I firmly believe we will beat Norwich........But I said that about the Palace game, the Southampton game, the West Ham game, etc, etc, etc
