super_frank8 186
I just read that same story. Although it's not the real news we've been waiting for today - in a way - it is even better.Gives me something to at least smile & dream about this week before we're kicked back into reality with whatever dire fate awaits us at the Bridge on Saturday... ulsterchelsea 3,221
I want to believe anything regarding a return by Jose but those 2 "news outlets" are running a complete non story. No quotes, nothing but guess work. Stingray
Wfisheruk 23
The article in the sun is written by rob Beasley a Chelsea fan and is quite close to mourinho so out of the two articles it would be that one I more believe,,

No quotes, nothing but guess work.Indeed! Mourinho coming back here would be massive and imo just what we need with this team! But, too many false (non) stories could destabilize us even more. Players read the papers too, I fear. I would love a 'clean cut' now instead of a promise/vague maybe for the summer (we are playing for a CL spot NOW - consider revenue, ffp and the need to get on track asap). Just sack Rafa and get Mourinho on board. Give him space and autonomy to work. I am sooooo hoping for this scenario. For now I ope the Sun is indeed right! ZanSnake 1,211
I hope when i come back from college i will hear the news FSW is sacked and Jose is back home. Put someone with a brain and with a passion back at the whelm, and watch the Special One, his Specialness once more!
different level 1,056
According to the sun, JOSE MOURINHO is ready to return to Stamford Bridge and 'rescue' his beloved Chelsea. My ever reliable facebook news feed OneMoSalah and Stingray
OneMoSalah 8,887
Jose has said many times about how he regrets only managing in England for 3 years but I have a funny feeling he wants SAF's job more than Benitez's. Yet again I think Guardiola went to Bayern to wait as he also wants Fergie's job and I think United will go for Guardiola due to his 14 trophies in 4 years at Barca compared to however many Mourinho has in his last 4 years. Well if all goes well at Bayern they will, I think thats probably why he signed a 3 year deal because SAF is meant to be retiring in 2015 or so the rumors say so if hes got one year on his contract left it won't cost United a lot of compensation or he could just resign. cousin benson 76
bringing jose back in would mean roman admits he was wrong in sacking him. do you really see the high and mighty admitting something like that? i hope i'm wrong. zolayes

I was against the idea of Jose coming back but it might be perfect considering where both he and Chelsea are at the moment. Unless he fancies a go in Paris I don't see many other leagues that would be attractive to him and the only other job possibly open in Summer is Man City.Don't quite know what that would mean for Emenalo though. petr.breu 1,618
It would be like a dream for me... There's probably nobody in football world I love more than him... Maybe JT, Lamps, Cech and Drogba are on the same level...

Strike 7,527
Whispers getting louder by the day....I like this. He's surely going to get sacked at Real in the summer or even before the summer if United or Barca do a proper job on Real.Mourinho can take this squad to another level

Styles 9,790
I was all for Mourinho coming back but seeing Madrid this year, the trouble that always seems to surround him and his relationship with Jorge Mendes then I have my doubts. It will only end in tears. For Real Madrid to be third and that far behind Barcelona is an absolute joke. It's practically a two team league. There's no way Mourinho can justify being that far behind.Besides they say you should never go back. I tried to get back together once with an ex-girlfriend and it was a total disaster. So I'm in the no camp when it comes to Jose.

The only place to be 11,313
I know Emenalo gets lumped in with 'the board' but I'm not entirely sure he should be sacked. If you accept that we need a DoF then he's not a bad choice, especially from the point of view of a manager. He's not really ever going to pose a threat to their job like a Hiddink might, although Grant showed that anything can happen. We need a long-term presence to guide the club and Jose doesn't tend to stay at clubs for longer than 3 years which means long-term planning is tough.I was all for Mourinho coming back but seeing Madrid this year, the trouble that always seems to surround him and his relationship with Jorge Mendes then I have my doubts. If they can learn from that (and I suspect Roman is far more capable of that then Jose) then they could build something great together. At the moment they're both on the mat for the first time in a decade. I'm a romantic so I will always look for a good story to be told. kellzfresh and The Skipper

It's as if we've been building the antithesis of a Mourinho team in the last few years.
