I will give a suggestion to the staff members: this guy was banned for being racist and xenophobic (even though in his profile he say he is also pakistani), and its clear this post was the reason why he was banned. In this case, posts like this should be deleted, otherwise the racist and xenophobic message are still there and people keep "liking" the post, and when people "like" I post like that, they are basically insulting the member that was insulted in the original message. For example, it seems  the member "Blue_Fox" liked this post 7 hours ago, in my opinion did offended Cosmins when he liked that post, since banning that member for liking a post might be too much (its the typical case that someone likes a message that he don't dare to say), the most reasonable thing to do is to ban the both message and messenger.

agreed.

but only if they provide a direct link for us who don't give a shit about what you've just said to like it too.

Where the post so I can like it?

The irony of you moaning about how that post should be deleted and not seen by people but here you are, quoting and showing the glory of the post away.

I'm not "moaning", I'm just giving I suggestion, but it seems you are hyper sensitive to suggestions, because it seems every time there is suggestion you feel people are just saying you are not doing your job right, or as another staff member said weeks ago, you don't need the mod telling you what you are supposed to do, and about that post, at this point most members here already saw that one, so I'm giving a suggestion for the future, so there was zero "irony" in my post. My suggestion remains.

Hyper sensitive to suggestions?

Your suggestion is fine but in your post, you clearly indicated how that post should be deleted because it's offensive, which in other words, it shouldn't continued to be seen by others. But you went ahead and quoted that post TWICE - when it's now few pages back and gone - thereby bringing it to the fore again.

I've made my peace with Mourinho's legacy being dead and buried now in the history books. He won't ever walk into Chelsea again as a manager and so at least we're safe from media speculation when we seek a new manager once the newly appointed departs.

So if Mourinho now chooses to go to United, best of luck, hope he doesn't win shit. At least you know he'll come back with respect and dignity with opposition, even if he does play his inevitable mind games. Hope we beat him whenever we play him.

Am I the only one who thinks he actually might?

I don't think he would want all this to be his last action for Chelsea, after all how you leave a club affects how strong you're legacy is, he would have been a legend regardless but if Didier left via the back door in 2011 instead of the party bus in 2012 and 2015 would he be on the immortal level he is?

Which brings me back to José, I can easily see him wanting to put this right, depending on what our squad is like and what his situation is, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if he returns for two years before he retires/goes to international footy.

Nah I don't see it at all to be honest. Drogba was a different case because he's a player and he continued to perform at the highest level.. But there's more to Drogba than Chelsea player, you saw how just a few days ago Eden spoke about how much of a mentor Drogba acted to him and reports earlier in the season indicated Drogba's departure was a massive deal in the dressing room. Didi continues to leave with the love and admirations of fans and players alike.

You can't really say the same with Mourinho. Oscar, Costa, Fabregas and even Hazard are now performing at a level higher than what Mourinho got out of them. Clearly he didn't leave with the same love and respect Drogba left with.

That being said, I'll give it to you that he left in a much better manner than he did last time. No big argument or circus drama (yet), so I don't think his relationship with Roman is severed but I'm sure the club's now moved on from Mourinho's ghosts. We haven't replicated such a dominant side for a prolonged period of time since 2004-09 and that trend only seems to be in continuation.

PSG beating Chelsea in UCL 'more difficult without Mourinho' - Motta

"It's more difficult without Mourinho," the former Barcelona and Inter Milan player told RMC.

"They've changed their game. When we played them in the last two seasons, they were a team who played on the counter and didn't want the ball.

"Nowadays, they're a team that tries to play. It will be difficult."

Interesting thought on the Chelsea of Mourinho.....

Hardly surprising considering Motta had first hand experience of Mourinho's management at Inter.

I mean in the eyes of the fans not the players, of course if Mou is to ever return, most of this squad will have to have been gone.

Mourinho is a proud man and I think he left on good terms with the owner all things considered, so there will be no bad blood their, the reason I think he might be up for a 3rd spell in years to come is after all the history he has made for Chelsea I just can't for the life of me seeing him wanting to end it for good on those last four months, if the timing was right and he had a chance to return for 2 years later down the line, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if he returned to right this wrong.

Obviously there are other factors to consider, if we were in a stable position under a manager who's football is opposite to Joses then it will be a non starter, but if we wind up in 2022 with our team in a similar outlook (in terms of playing personnel) to Inter 2008 and we were on the lookout for a new manager, then I can easily see the temptation to "marry again" would be there., for both parties.

I've never envisioned remembering Jose Mourinho as the attacking-minded one....

However, given the way we've been playing, the starting lineups, and the results, reckon it's a valid case to be made.

A case for someone braver than I to make... :)

They are struggling to put up with LvG's way of playing so I cannot for the life of me see how they will put up with Mourinho's predictable ways including formation and selections. Not only that but just across the City will be a certain Pep Guardiola, who the the press will be all over with it being his first dip in the PL ocean and Jose will not be short of a sly pop or two at both City and Pep. United need to look closely at this and be very careful if they haven't signed him already, they will be getting a very stubborn, arrogant and one dimensional manager in Mourinho, which isn't a far cry from what they have now.

I've washed my hands completely of JM, thankful for what he did but I never want to see him return. He was found out here and he will be at United, and if United want to promote youth they are signing the wrong bloke.

On the other hand they have a competitor who should put them in their place. They (likely) miss two times out of three on top 4, they are desperate at the moment. They want to be relevant again.

Valid point with Pep at City. They must predict what will be sticking point at his tenure and how it damage their image and reputation. Back to the point about being desperate.

While he did revert to form towards the end of his time here, we can't forget how exciting and pleasant on the eyes our football was in the first half of last season. He may be able to get them playing like that. Unlike us, United actually have a bunch of players who can keep the ball for extended periods of time as well. I think players like Martial and Depay are perfect for Mourinho and both Rooney and José have never hid their admiration for one another so I can see him get a boost in form.

The other (and biggest) reason they'll put up with him and why I think he's nailed on to be a success is who he'll be able to attract and sign. He'll make our board look like total mugs if he goes out first thing in the summer and signs the targets he wanted here that we failed to secure. Say he does what he did with Costa and Cesc and in the first weeks of the summer and signs Stones and Pogba.

Agree that there's definitely risk, but for a club like them who's desperate for immediate success you can't go wrong with Mourinho.

How often does Mourinho have his teams playing nice football though? I think that first half of the season was okay, but we hardly played exhilarating stuff like Liverpool of 2 seasons back or Man city even, we still won games by 1 or 2 (if we were lucky) goals and  looked a little dodgy in defence. We lost to west brom away 3-0, drew to Liverpool at home, drawing at home to Southampton and a myriad of other poor results, especially towards the latter end of the season and allowed our rivals to close the point gap a couple times when we had a very healthy lead.

I think Mourinho will never be an attacking minded coach, and when his teams have been attacking it's because there have been some phenominal players at his disposal, such as Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria and Modric at Madrid, and Drogba, Robben, Lampard, Duff, Cole etc here in his first spell. How much of the attacking play and amount of goals was more down to the quality of players in the team rather than solely Mourinho's mindset of wanting to play an attacking game?

Be interesting to hear arguments against this and your views.
