xPetrCechx 13,582
Emmanuel Petit pointed out that he's worried about Jose's mental health. Mourinho is not the same anymore. Popular Post! Darogba 112 Posted November 4, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted November 4, 2016 Even when he was at Chelsea I hated the drama that he constantly brought with him. It's okay and can be ignored when the team is winning, but incredibly irritating when they start losing. At Utd he's skipped the wining part and went straight for the irritating bit. Wonder how long Woodward, Fergie and Charlton will stand for this. I know the latter two aren't particularly keen on him and only went for him because they were desperate, but what's the point if he keeps his negative traits without any of the positive ones? I love the fact that the only time we hear of Conte on the news is on match days. It's just football and nothing else. No referee drama, respects his fellow managers, no player battles or throw them under the bus( even that argument with costa turned into nothing). He might or might not be succesful here but I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. A lot of people that even hated Chelsea in the past are now slowly warming to us. Not that I care about their opinion though 😉 Styles, Hybrid Angel, BoyBlue96 and 6 others

I do think something is seriously wrong with him - I said that a number of times before - he seems broken, and it definitely happened in Spain. Mental illness is pretty sobering stuff - I really think he should seek help. This is Mourinho's version of what's happened to Paul Gascoigne... Leif 6,006
I agree that Jose is now really mentally ill. In sports people never talk about the mental aspect, it's always physical health, which makes sense considering it's the bodies they throw on the line, but if there was more consideration regarding mental health, a lot of footballers & managers wouldn't even be allowed to participate. Their doctors wouldn't allow it, the club would try and enforce the contract, and a whole clusterfuck would follow likely ending in termination and fees. In Jose's case though, I think he's got the sort of illness that doesn't go away. A deep rooted narcissism which was probably founded on the insecurity of having to live up to his dad's expectations. I'm sure that if Jose was raised by a mother who wasn't into football, yet still went on to get his coaching badges etc. and do what he did, he wouldn't care for United. He's a man obsessed with giving a spiritual gift to someone he loves. Which in most cases, like music, the art world and such, is admirable. But doing that to a fanbase of millions which is littered with goofs? It isn't so well recieved.

Iggy Doonican 4,186
I think saying Mourinho is mentally ill is a little bit over the top. I just think he's burnt out working in a high pressured environment all the time has taken it's toll. His days as a top manager are coming to an end and I think he knows it hence the erratic behaviour with us and now Man United. You can't blame Eden Hazard for being pissed off with him Hazard virtually won us the title single handedly yet Mourinho would constantly snipe at him. Also he's getting to sound uncomfortably like Donald Trump with his ridiculous conspiracy theories.

Popular Post! Adnane 1,101 Posted November 5, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted November 5, 2016 The more it goes the more I just feel last season was a blessing in disguise, we got rid of one dangerous man who might have blocked our progression as a club for years and years. What was the worst that José could've done to deserve the sack at Chelsea ? Get us relegated, what was the closest thing to that ? One point above relegation, which is exactly what happened, I genuinely don't think the board would have sacked him had he not reached such low heights ( most of the fanbase were ready to give him a second chance also, including myself ), but reflecting on it, maybe it was the best thing to happen to modern Chelsea : The Mourinho cloud ( negative or positive, which had been roaming above the club since his first departure ) definitely left last season, with the closing chapter being the 4-0, and I can't help but feel we are incredibly lucky with a man like Antonio Conte at the helm, whether he lives up to expectations and stays here for a long time remains to be seen, this is football, once the chemistry isn't here anymore he will go and have the subsequent respect and gratitude depending on how well he does here, but I really feel we are progressing as a club at the current moment, Chelsea is growing, the siege mentality is gone, the shackled offensive players is a thing of the past, we are becoming a big european club again ( actually just resuming our progression ) and the sponsorship deals, new stadium will only help achieve that. Granted we're still a bit far, but i'm pretty convinced it will come good. With that being sad, still have some great memories for José, and the more it goes the more I transition from laughing of his misery to feeling sad for him, this is one of the biggest falls from grace the world of football has ever seen... kellzfresh, Darogba, Hybrid Angel and 6 others
Fernando 6,602
Said it before a team like PSG might be good for him. Or if he wants to stay in the PL then a team like Everton might be good. Smaller team with less pressure, can take his time to build up his ego..... Tautvix
Jase 43,479
Don't want to jinx it but our recent performances and results are really putting a huge spotlight on Mourinho's management and even more so with the way United are doing. Conte is managing basically same set of players and getting far better results and performances than Mourinho did last season. manpe, kellzfresh, Fernando and 1 other
