The Mourinho Thread

It is pretty disrespectful though in my honest opinion. I don't get why he has to disappear 5 minutes before the game has finished; just shake hands at the end of the game like everybody else, everything else can wait.

I actually laughed when I saw that on MOTD2 last night and thought 'well done, Lambert' to be honest. Hopefully Mourinho stops doing that leaving early nonsense.

I must agree, though. I think it is disrespectful from both sides here to be honest. Keane's facial expression is priceless, though.

i cannot believe some of the shit posted on this thread, some people are moaning about the game before last STILL and comparing man city chelsea to a game of FIFA, not hard to see to where they get their football knowledge from is it! the inside of a plastic box. six games 5 points clear demoralised arsenal at the weekend. happy days for some, not if your a space cadet tho!

Mourinho is actually the most likeable thing about 2014 Chelsea (now the English backbone has gone), it's what separates us from faceless/soulless Man-City.. he's a character and a media darling. Only single-minded fans of other clubs dislike him..

When you have charisma you can get away with anything.

I suppose you think you have charisma as well.

Everyone loves Mou! Fuck Lambert, if he doesn't wanna shake the Special One' s hand then he can go fuck himself with that hand. Mou can leave when he wants, it's not disrespectful, it's just what he does. What is disrespectful is refusing to shake your opponents hand.

How is that a proper justification for what he did? That and not shaking your opponent's hand is equally bad. To say one is worse than the other is absolutely nonsensical. It's courtesy/sportsmanship for the managers to stay until the end of the game, regardless of the result, shake hands and then leave. To do so with several minutes to go smacks of arrogance.

If people really want to justify what Mourinho did, then how come no one did that for Lambert? Not shaking hand with the opposition's manager is bad but given the circumstances, why should Lambert then show him respect if the former doesn't by doing what he did? It's rather insensitive that people can find 'reasons' to defend Mourinho but not Lambert and understand why he didn't shake the hands then.

Like I said here previously, if someone did that to Mourinho, pretty sure the reaction would be different altogether on the manager that shake the hand and leave early. TC will be in a meltdown.
