Benches not the shed 77
I didn't question it, I brought it as an example from his first stint of his reluctance to rotate the players. I know Lampard was renowned for his unbelievable stamina and professional approach towards his fitness and to this day I pride myself with his record achievement, because he's my all-time favourite player.(Next time please quote my post so I get a notification)So, you do think he should of rotated Lampard... Which proves my point.

Jase 43,479
More Mourinho on Wenger...http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsene-wenger-jose-mourinho-rift-3153716Mourinho said: “The only thing I feel is that I was very quiet in my place and somebody spoke not in a nice way about us. After that, I don’t accept that one is always ‘Monsieur polite’ and the other one is always the bad guy. I don’t accept, I’m sorry.”
darrus 422
Yes, he said that back when Mourinho was here the first time.Ah, thanks. Now I remeber this (didn't recognise at first 'cos I never heard the quote in English, only translations). It just appeared on some sites like a recent one so I had to wonder. Thanks for clarifying. Point out the specific sentence(s).I can't be arsed, just read your own post where you mention Lampard playing 160 times on the spin. If you can't see it then there is something wrong. The point it proves to me is that in my opinion you have a lack of understanding of the game and player mentality of this country. If you can't see it then there is something wrong. The point it proves to me is that in my opinion you have a lack of understanding of the game and player mentality of this country.I have read my post (in fact I wrote it, so I know very well what I did and did not mean) and I can't see where I questioned it. I questioned his team selection for the game against City, yes, but Frank's case I just brought as an example. But for the sake of the argument let's presume I did question it - so what? Are we supposed to agree and praise everything he does, because...? Even Jose himself has said he makes mistakes. I trust the man as much as any, but I don't understand where this thinking comes from that it's taboo to question some of the man's decisions or actions. This is very much a religious approach you're describing, because "God can do no wrong". Well, I'm not one to agree with everything out of blind faith, just not my nature. If it is yours, then fine, but to attack me for being different to you, that's just small.

I praise your ability to prove a point and sustain a discussion in a respectful and decent manner.Whats the point when you just deny stuff that is blatantly in front of you, to be honest, people like you are one of the main reasons I prefer watching Chelsea away from home.. You just don't get as many cocks travelling away.

Fernando 6,743
Can anyone comment on this and tell me what they think:As the draws against West Ham and West Brom also suggested, Chelsea struggle to break down opponents when their counter-attacking system is hindered. Mourinho experienced this problem during his time at Real Madrid and he was devoid of answers as his team laboured at the Etihad. Replacing Samuel Eto'o for the pacy Mohamed Salah at half time did nothing to change the status quo as City remained in complete control.I saw this on an article and thought was an interesting remark. What do people think?
Popular Post! The only place to be 11,313 Posted February 17, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted February 17, 2014 Can anyone comment on this and tell me what they think:I saw this on an article and thought was an interesting remark. What do people think?Firstly, I don't think the West Ham game proved anything. We created 39 chances against them and had clear opportunities to score. It would be like suggesting there was something inherently wrong with Bayern's system in the 2012 CL Final.More importantly Mourinho has managed to develop a system that has taken us to the top of the table in his first seven months in charge, when we haven't managed to create a decent system in the past three years. That to me is good progress at this stage, and I expect us to develop alterations to this system as we move on.To be honest that type of comment you quoted will only find agreement amongst those with an agenda about Mourinho, that he's one-dimensional but that requires them to ignore games like Norwich away where he mixed up the tactics and won the game.
