You do know a DM winning loads of tackles isn't great right? You think Busquets, Carrick, Alonso, Motta or Kroos are winning loads of challenges? As long as your positioning is great you won't be forced into unnecessary defensive actions. DM's job is to prevent passing lanes and shut off potential attacks, which Matic does not do why do you think it's so easy to play through our midfield?

Mikel makes to many mistakes for my liking mate Busquets, Carrick, Alonso, Motta or Kroos are better than Mikel in that role

1. Mikel was played against Everton to protect the defense with his "positioning". All the goals came through the very middle. He wasn't even there to make a tackle or commit a foul.

2. He also did the same against Porto. On the ball, okay, but off it, he was downright terrible. Even poor Iva / Matic made more tackles than he did in that game.

Please dont use Walsall/Maccabbi as any example.

I'm in this camp, it's been a long time since I felt this concerned. Ivanovic will start and mane will obviously target him, we can't keep a clean sheet to save our life, we can't press, basic things we used to be known for are gone.
