Gappy 130 Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Good result but very poor performance.Yes they park the bus and also yes we don't know how to create a open play chance. now it seem that our 2nd squad ( the XI that play with walsal, Tel aviv ) look lively than our first XIand I will blame cesc + matic + hazard that make our attack very slow pace they keep holding the ball put it wide and sent it backHazard I'm not sure he should get more fouls or he just to slow to dribble, create almost nothing didn't seem to have pace enough at all.Matic was run too much but he's always lost his position,his ability to read the situation was gone and he should stop keep going forward with ball just pass the ball fast now he play like mikel + ramires ( in old version ) and mikel was play like him o_0 Cesc was poor defense he can't create chance if opposite park the bus ( he shine after Newcastle push their line lot of long pass was showed ) although it's good with long shot at first half but his passing was create nothing than pass the ball wide.Our first XI attack was sooooo boring hold the ball ,wide it to hazard done nothing long pass to another side ivanovic ????? then he cross .... to nowhere near the box -.- they repeat this cycle again and again and again and again not just this game but almost a decade - -Shame that we have HAZARD / OSCAR / PEDRO / CESC to create chances but they always give the ball to RB that don't know how to cross. I don't know it's that 4 men false cuz they too lazy to use their brain to create chances or it's ivanovic that alway run too high and think he was Beckham or all of them was too blind too know that this doesn't work. We just kept on strolling and giving the ball back to newcastle for a throw-in or freekick like we didn't have any gameplay. That was the worst 45mins I've ever seen since supporting Chelsea. It's like you think we should automatically be top of the table regardless of performances. Football doesn't work that way. We're going through a blip but there have been worse moments than this. People are quick to forget the Villas-Boas/di Matteo/Benitez era and even the Avram Grant days. Considering we're in a real shit moment, and that Newcastle always raise their game against us, we have to be happy with the point, especially considering we were 0-2 down. That's a point gained on last season's result. Beat Southampton on Saturday and we'll have gained three points on last season's corresponding fixtures.
