Think if he didn't go to Spurs and went to Liverpool or someone else he'd be on loan in the Championship. The same with Ryan Mason and Alex Pritchard or whatever his name is. Interesting to see Pochettino use guys who played League 1 and Championship in his side.

Dele Alli has been the Spurs best player this season so far...

He was fortunate with injuries to ericksen, mason, bentalb, dembela etc, however, he looks to be a key player for them this year. I expect him to win YPOTY unless Poch drops him out of the starting 11.

Last 3 games he has started, Spurs are 3-0-0. Prior to that, the spurs were 0-1-2. Big 2 games coming up for the Spurs vs arsenal and City this week. He has immense pace/workrate and would be a great sub for Oscar to play the n10 role for Jose imo.

Spurs could go

Dier-Bentalb-Alli

Son-Kane-Ericksen

Depends on the player though, if they are highly-rated and the coach believes they are ready, they'll get a chance....just look at Joe Gomez, signed from the Championship, only 18 and he's already played 5 PL games this season for Liverpool

I agree about Mason and Pritchard, but Alli looks a class above those guys as he appears to have more composure on/off the ball

Rafinha of munich rejected brazil to try for germany NT.

he was born in brazil and played in brazil youth setup and senior friendlies....

Well there is not much difference in quality and Germany are probably better and he can get games there with Lahm retiring. Alli's mates are all English and there is no chance he will play for Nigeria. Especially as he can easily play for England's team. It is rare English players will choose there second nationality unless they feel there is zero chance of them getting in the England team. Like Ibe, Alli will commit to England. That is 100% regardless of what Rafinha did.

Rafinha rejected the brazil call-up because he doesn't like being 3rd choice RB

He knows that when Dani Alves and Danilo are fit, he won't make the Brazil squad..
