Its not a good sign when one of league's teams became specialist in producing embarrassing moments in Europe. Mourinho was completely right about Wenger, he is a failure specialist. Its shocking Arsenal fans are not asking for his head, I think they are used to being a joke.obviously you don't watch gooner fan tv. Their fans were calling for his head ever since that 6-0 defeat at the Bridge in 2014. Hell Piers Morgan is always calling for le voyeur's head on twitter. Then you add this last transfer window when the goonies didn't even buy a outfield player. Some figures released this week revealded they have enough money to spend big. A club with ambition would never let Wenger stay for so many years. Its clear he passed his best. Arsen + Arsenal is not working anymore. Every single season is the same thing: Arsenal produce good football for 6 months. Some seasons they start really strong but lost peformance in the second half of the season, or they had a poor start before playing the best football of the league, but in a moment they can get no better than 3rd.Last season Arsenal was the best team in the second half of the season. Scored more points and goals than anyone else. I thought theu would have a strong start this season and would win the league. Actually the quality is shocking. They looked really weak during the match against us, Russian Premier League material. But it's always easier to look good when you've been written off and when the real pressure to win every match isn't there. In athletics, Justin Gatlin clocked a faster time than anyone. But when the final came, he was beat by Usain Bolt. Usain's time to win the World Championship was slower than Gatlin's time in one of the previous rounds. Gatlin wasn't capable of producing that time when he felt that heat in his neck.That's Arsenal for me at the end of the day. They have a good team. Good options in most positions (for some reason they passed up the opportunity to strengthen in the areas they needed a quality injection though). Like you said, Wenger and Arsenal doesn't work anymore.I do think the people in charge of Arsenal are more interested in making money than winning trophies though. What I also loved and still has not been said here, us trying to shoor outside the box. In the last game it was horribly painful watching us trying to combine in the box, instead of smashing it. It seems Matic's screamer at the Goodison might have changed something. Even Cesc had several shots and boy we know he just never does that and passes instead. The next day i was still drunk and in the local with my mates. The London news came on with a report on the game. The woman in the studio was partially blocking some of the banner headline so what it said was Sunken Arse. Cue raucous laughter from all us Chelsea boys. Meet them now and there all Gooners to a man and swear blind they always were. In the mid 90's just as football was getting a bigger audience especially in the boozers two sets of new fans emerged.
