Chelsea Lad 0 Posted June 22, 2008 Share Posted June 22, 2008 Was there ever a Dennis Wise testimonial match? I'm talking about in 1998 or 1999 and believe it was against Besiktas? I want to know cause I think this was my first match that I saw at the Bridge and was the game that made me love football and Chelsea. At the time I was only about 6 or 7 and my grandad, mum and dad took me cause they're life long fans. I just can't remember exactly if it was a testimonial or just a pre-season friendly or something? Also do you know the year? EDIT: Don't worry I've found it now.
