It is make sense to looking for someone young and potential for this position as Azpi understudy also act as a backup. Baba fits in those criteria perfectly. Worse than Luis but better than Azpi I assume and therefore it makes sense as then both fullback positions would have defensive and more attacking options available. I think we can only hope he is a Zouma/Varane defender and not the flavor of the month who just had one good season because I never heard of him before until we are linked a few weeks ago. He will become a great defender for Mourinho and he already has excellent physicality, speed, tackling, delivery. One of the positions Chelsea need the most.
