OneMoSalah 7,739
If it is to be Conte, hopefully we won't see any of his 3-5-2 with our team. Surely if we can get a aggressive and dynamic midfield player we have to play 4-3-3.

Some things you do not comment" Daniel Conte, brother-agent of national coach Antonio Conte, said to the microphones of cittaceleste.it the rumors regarding a possible transfer to Chelsea of the former coach of Juventus after the European: "They talk about it for a month, but there is nothing to say. they are only rumors. Antonio now think the Europeans. Some things you do not comment. If it remains as Italy coach after the European? These are his choices. Do not go into the merits. Henrique 9,074
If Conte is appointed I can imagine: - Cuadrado will be playing for Chelsea next season, in Italy Cuadrado quality is beyond doubt, and Conte knows he can be useful. - Chelsea will sign Pelle. Pelle is a regular pick for Italy NT under Conte, he is cheap and we need new strikers. - Conte will get an italian defender. This team need defenders, and Conte know some italian defenders who will be perfect for this team.

And hasn't Pelle been shit for a while now this season? On some super long goal drought, isn't he? Plus he's getting old. You'd think if we were after any Italian striker it would be Icardi who we've been linked with recently before Conte was coming.

Now lets leave this debate as it is; I dont think Conte suits us, I dont think we will be successful under him. But I will support him like I support everyone at cfc. We will see how things will span out. Mourinho losing the dressing room ran a lot deeper than the training methods.

Conte is not the usual stupid who saw Cuadrado for 50 minutes and beleive he is shit. Pelle will be starting games for Italy in Euro. So, I'm basically saying Conte is not the Premier League fan who don't give a fuck about whats happening elsewhere, and I'm sure the is not the one who believe a guy with 30 years old is too old for football.

Popular Post Cosmin 2,347
I just can't understand how people still insist with the "Guus should be given a full-term contract" talk. THE GUY DOES NOT WANT IT. It's simple. He said it many times before. It's not club's choice not to give him a new contract. It's his. He will probably be an adviser, he'll stay around, but he will never be Chelsea FC's permanent manager.

Dunno but Guus is a fan of clearing the air as soon as possible so Roman could inform staff (which is about 600 people on full-time job) and players. It wouldn't surprise if he would do that if deal was a done however can you imagine him telling to all those people that if contract wasn't signed etc. ? That would be hilarious and I can't imagine that. I think he could say a couple of high rank people within the club or allowed others to spread the news that deal is close. I won't attach to it as I'm certain anyway that Conte will be a Chelsea manager.

LondonsFinest 692
Quite the contrary to Henrique's post. His main idea will be to have a dominant midfield, so a technical, robust Anchor Man will be his first pick. Whether it is Vidal or Naingollan, it doesn't matter. On the other hand, as much as he admires Cuadrado, he himself must know the club moved beyond him, having Pedro, Willian and Kenedy as options there, who are all bigger quality than him. To be fair, I'm expecting to big transfers(in terms of money) and that will be it. Our youths are more than adequate to cover. If we are bringing Christensen back, then I doubt we'll see a DF here.

Guus has said he is leaving but he has not said why. This is not to say that Guss does want the job but I do know he clearly did have more than half an eye on it when he returned. As far as the public knew that remained the case until about six weeks ago when he started to make it clear he'd be leaving the hot seat at the end of the season. It may be that the club, now obsessed with the long term boss idea, have made it clear that they want a younger man, it could be that Guus finds the alternative job he's been offered upstairs more appealing, or that his health won't allow him to accept the role in the dugout. Goodness it could even be that Guus just does not want the job, as you say. It could be any number of reasons but the point is we don't know because Guus hasn't said.
