Aesthetic Relic 301
SSN Scolari plots 'revolution' New Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has warned his inherited squad that nobody is safe at Stamford Bridge. Scolari takes charge of the Premier League club following Portugal's elimination from Euro 2008 and has revealed that he is ready to overhaul the Blues. The likes of Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda and Shaun Wright-Phillips could all face Scolari's axe, while the former Brazil boss is believed to be keen to land Barcelona pair Ronaldinho and Deco. But Scolari has also hinted that he will be keen to build a committed Chelsea squad, which could signal the departure of Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba as speculation continues over the duo's future. "It will be a revolution especially in terms of mentality," Scolari told the News of the World. "First there will need to be an overhaul, as happens in any company when they change boss. "When that happens I don't know, because it depends on the human resources, on the whole team. "I confess, for the first few games I will have difficulty in identifying all the players and getting their fusion right. "Everyone has their personality, their way of working and their way of seeing players. I will begin by seeing players in training because you see different reactions there." And Scolari also insists that he will not be afraid to tread on a few toes in West London as he bids to build a winning team following Chelsea's empty-handed 2007/08 campaign. "My choices are purely tactical ones. I pick the players I think are the best," added Scolari. "I only give explanations about players I pick, never about others. "I won't give explanations about any player not selected. Whoever is not selected is not selected. "Let them be unhappy with it. They know that's the way it is in football. I, as a coach, have to live with the responsibility of choosing. "Nobody knows what goes on inside my head. That's why it's better not to respond to some criticism." BlueLion. 21,491
As long as he doesn't change the captaincy duo, I'm all for his revolution.

Elliott 7
I'm not going to sit here and say he should do this, that or the other. He's a proven manager and I'm sure he'll get it right.
Luke 60
well lets take a look at what we need GK: cech is world class... there was talk of carlo going back to italy, not sure of the status on that so maybe a replacement gk is needed LB: ashley and bridgey are more than good enough RB: new signing looks steady, paolo can still do a job, would pick them both ahead of belletti, and bouhlarouz will go CB: jt and riccy are solid (i hope the stories of riccy going to inter are false) alex is good cover, i would sell ben hiam and bring thru mancienne when needed DM: maka will go back to france, or maybe to italy, good sevant but cant handle two games in a row now in a 60+ games a season, mikel and essien are solid in this position, sidwell will go AM: frank i hope will stay, bring in deco, joey cole is solid, as is ballack, swp will go as will malouda ST: drogba i think will go, anelka can go, i think sheva has one more season in him, pizzaro can go, bring in eto and ronaldinho, kaou will stay i think
EskWeston 696
Scolari is a clever man and he knows what he wants and what he has to do to get it. A lot will depend on the style he wants to play and the formation he wants to play. He will do exactly what he feels he needs to do to bring the results and football he wants. It will certainly be interesting to see how exactly he does it but i don't think there is anything for us to worry about.
